I'd jump at that price too! I've got the 4 or 5 FREEBIES plus Analog Lab 5 and Augmented Strings and my Crossgrade price is $199. So it's easier to say "no thanks". -
Good one!

100% agree with your last 2 points and I mostly agree with you otherwise - except - that I am leaning towards liking plugin managers in general. However, a poorly executed one is almost as bad as individually updating a bunch of plugins. (Hornet, I'm looking at you. ) The best installers that pop to mind are Kilohearts and Arturia and Tokyo Dawn. They are all nicely streamlined and tell you if you need an update. I wish Kuassa had one. I have a handful of their plugins and I'm right at the tipping point of buying their full bundle. Updating all of the individual plugins is a total pita... -

This makes me feel a little better. I passed on the $130 FX3 price when the new reverb was introduced. So I guess I would have still paid the same to upgrade to FX4 if I had jumped in. Mine shows $199 now, so no real difference. That's a BIG chunk of change to buy a bunch of FX that I already have from different devs. Is Arturia THAT good? Are they FX you actually use? ? -
@Fleer You got a thumbs down from me on that click bait buster!

I'm seeing the same as @MrFigg. I just signed up too... I'd have to say I'm in the definite "meh" camp.

Yes! Be sure and check your Eventide account for Crossgrade prices. I can crossgrade to SP2016 from the FREE one for $27 bucks. ?

@jngnz Not me! But I still haven't used it yet. ? I'm glad for this reminder though because I'm trying to mix some drums and keep forgetting to try this one out...

I actually picked it up in Oct 2022 for $12 at AudioDeluxe! I had demoed it previously and missed a sale, then got lucky on that one. I pay particular attention to the UntitedPlugins by JMG, the developer of Hyperspace. I just went looking for it on the Music Software Deals site but curiously couldn't find this particular plugin by itself. Generally, that's a good site to go to for price history. @El Diablo You can also sign up for an email for specific plugin deals there, similar to JRR, only it's across a bunch of stores. No affiliation, just a great idea and site: www.musicsoftwaredeals.com

FYI, the code is working fine for me. Just make sure you're logged in. If they had done this 5 years ago, I'd be all in...

Dang! I'm almost tempted at this price! Almost. Now if they went to $29...

I'd send a note to support. Probably something they can sort out.

I always used the iLokCLoud before i had a dongle without any problems. It doesn't even look like you need iLok anymore! Am I reading that right? https://support.soundtoys.com/article/42-setting-up-plug-ins-with-an-ilok-license

Check your account! $29 if you upgrade to the 5.4 bundle! https://www.soundtoys.com/product/superplate/ It looks like complaining about the bundle upgrade price worked...

Waiting for Other Desert Cities to hit the $19.99 mark... ?

It's super versatile. I've used it on vocals - it can go from vintage character to modern and clean. It works great on pads to like a nice washy shimmery verb. It can really do pretty much anything. The workflow is really great too. Once you find a setting you like OK, you can hit the random dice (3) and it'll give you another setting in the ballpark. Then A-B to see which you like better. Rinse and repeat until you settle on one you like. Then dive in and tweak the specific settings if you need to. I have found I need to watch the CPU though. Basically, I'll find a setting I like, then switch to Economy mode until I'm ready to render...

I see them now. Thanks!

I just checked and the Seismic audio cables on there are more expensive than on their own site. Plus, I'll get a 10% off with code WELCOME10OFF. So a total of $33.30 for 6' TRS to TRS cables (x6). At more than 50% less than Sweetwater's price, I guess it's time to buy. Thanks!
-
I found myself a little annoyed at these. They look like identical UIs, but different plugins? Just stick a Modern/Vintage switch on there...
-
I need 4 TRS to TRS cables. I found this site this morning which looks pretty good. They seem stupid $$ at Sweetwater. https://www.seismicaudiospeakers.com/search?q=6'+1%2F4"+TRS+to+1%2F4"+TRS+Patch+Cable&pf_pt_product_type=Audio+Cables&pf_pt_product_type=Patch+Cables Where do you guys gets yours?

I don't think so either. They gave away some "lite" versions a couple of years ago which is why I'm on the email list. For $12 each I am sort of curious about a couple of these...
