    ^^ this is good tip. FWIW.. I usually have IK taps disabled on the master bus when working or recording. I only turn it on when mixing and my buffer size is usually set 512 or higher.

    ^^ I use it on single tracks because it's much less resource hungry than IK tapes plugin. I use steel mode the most.

    I think that is probably worth it. I just get into the sampletank instruments via this sale. The newer IKM instruments Cinekinetik and Electromagnetik are the best sounding. Really good stuff. I am also getting the hang of Sampletank. Interesting tool.

    yup. agreed. i never really used sampletank until this week. i am mostly a kontakt user. i am quite impressed by sampletank. it has some cool tricks up its sleeve. the Cinekinetik and Electromagnetik are really good. i also picked up most of the drums. quite good and useful.

    I am quite enjoying the Cinekinetik stuff. Some really usable sounds in there. Also getting the hang of Sampletank. Glad I dipped in a second time I think.

    Hmm.. so it looks like NI adjusted the working of that page since yesterday. Now it shows the below. So in essence, you need to have bought off the NI website to get the update and upgrade pricing. Still. a Good deal on this. I am listening and deciding.

    430.. i picked up the Dimebag as a freebie. That JC-120 is totally different than the one in AT regular. Really good emulation of it if you are into that tone. highly recommended.
