Dang! I still haven't finished the first one!
-
Eeeeewww, yuck! You know dogs lick their butts right?
-
Ugh. All you can really do is make it worse....

Not CW, but the devices. I know that my Minilogue won't work plugged into a hub. It will show up but not work.
-
If everything worked fine before and the only thing that changed was the Windows update, then it must be the update. Impossible. Cakewalk - or any other DAW for that matter - doesn't create any sound on it's own; it only reproduces what is put into it
-
You don't have it plugged into a USB hub, do you?

Constant crash with TTS general midi plugin

Whatever. I've got music to make. Using plugins I don't have to fight with. -
Constant crash with TTS general midi plugin

Damn. What crawled up your ***** and died? I know some people still use it. I just said if it works for you, great. Otherwise its just not worth fighting with. I don't like wasting time fighting with stuff. My time is extremely limited and therefore extremely valuable to me. I would rather spend it making music than wrestling with problematic software. Like the ASIO4ALL you are so in love with. So many people have so many issues with it I can't in good conscience reccomend doing anything but leaving it behind as you get on with your life. Same with TTS1. Same with 32 bit abandonware plugins. -
Cakewalk is not really intended as a live performance tool. It can be done, but it is less than optimal.
-
This would be covered in the documentation.

Constant crash with TTS general midi plugin
Byron Dickens replied to Hugh Blaney's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
As always, I recommend not fighting with obsolete, no-longer-in-development plugins. Not worth the hassle. If it works for you, then great. Drive on with your bad self. I haven't used it in years. There's about 18, 263,982.3 better sounding options out there anyway. -
if you find DAWs too difficult to use...

Good God. "Wah! It takes effort!" Who can I send a box of tissues to? -

Ditch it and move on. -
Huh? What?

No, you do not.

Their LEL is fantastic! Gritty, Lo-Fi Soviet nastiness

This is the wrong section of the forum, BTW

I wasn't aware there was a law you have to use that feature if you don't want to....

I just use a combination of healthy skepticism, common sense and critical thinking. First clue: "softwar" as in "worldofsoftwar.com." I had to force that past the spell checker. Second clue: just the name worldofsoftwar sounds funky. Even if it was spelled correctly. Third clue: W10 pro for ten bucks? Yeah, right. Autocad for $100? Autocad is a subscription of $1,775/paid annually, $220/paid monthly or $5,060/paid every 3 years. (Copy/ pasted from Autodesk's website.)

No it would not. Learning how to use the (virtual) console properly is preferred.
