  1. ^^^^^^^ This. Seriously. I don't know what the point of starting these threads is other than attention whoring.
  2. Buy a real microphone with an XLR connector and use it through your interface. Solved.
  3. Real amps make noise. High gain amps make a lot of noise.
  4. Honest to god, it'll be a lot faster to just re-record the part then try to fix it. If you had just done that when you noticed the mistake, you'd be finished by now.
  5. Cut your losses and re-record it.
  6. Or you can just "have the tape rolling," as it were, every time. More than once, I have nailed what would have been a keeper during a practice run so now I hit "record" first just in case.
  7. You should have looked at the reviews before parting with your hard- earned $20.
  8. Dang! I still haven't finished the first one!
  9. Eeeeewww, yuck! You know dogs lick their butts right?
  10. Ugh. All you can really do is make it worse....
  11. Not CW, but the devices. I know that my Minilogue won't work plugged into a hub. It will show up but not work.
  12. If everything worked fine before and the only thing that changed was the Windows update, then it must be the update. Impossible. Cakewalk - or any other DAW for that matter - doesn't create any sound on it's own; it only reproduces what is put into it
  13. You don't have it plugged into a USB hub, do you?
  14. Whatever. I've got music to make. Using plugins I don't have to fight with.
  15. Damn. What crawled up your ***** and died? I know some people still use it. I just said if it works for you, great. Otherwise its just not worth fighting with. I don't like wasting time fighting with stuff. My time is extremely limited and therefore extremely valuable to me. I would rather spend it making music than wrestling with problematic software. Like the ASIO4ALL you are so in love with. So many people have so many issues with it I can't in good conscience reccomend doing anything but leaving it behind as you get on with your life. Same with TTS1. Same with 32 bit abandonware plugins.
  16. Cakewalk is not really intended as a live performance tool. It can be done, but it is less than optimal.
  17. This would be covered in the documentation.
  18. As always, I recommend not fighting with obsolete, no-longer-in-development plugins. Not worth the hassle. If it works for you, then great. Drive on with your bad self. I haven't used it in years. There's about 18, 263,982.3 better sounding options out there anyway.
  19. Good God. "Wah! It takes effort!" Who can I send a box of tissues to?
