    Step Recording in Cakewalk by Bandlab can be a great way to lay down tracks if you’re not keyboard savvy. Step recording is a method of recording MIDI notes one note or chord at a time. It’s a very easy and precise way to record, but can sound mechanical if used in the wrong situation. You use step recording in its typical form by choosing a step size, such as a quarter note, and then playing a note on your MIDI keyboard.     Yeah, I get that to. I mean I paid over $499 for Platinum and then 6 months later they dropped it. Honestly, even with it’s free plugs in the current state I can achieve some decent mixes.

    I keep hearing that they still own the rights to the older legacy plugins but haven’t released them as of yet. Not sure what to believe anymore really. I install them in chronological order as stated before and have most of them but this last time I upgraded my pc I lost access to some.

    This is a condensed version of the previous Live Mixing Session we recently did complete with time stamps in the comment section. Mark George, the October song contest winner, submitted his song “Ghost Dance” and it came out victorious. Each month we have a new song contest! We all listen to the submissions together and I give constructive feedback on how to improve the production quality.     Hey! I have a subscriber that follows my Cakewalk tutorials who Is blind. He is having a problem with Cakewalk crashing when using his screen reading software.     Nice work! I refurbish guitars and give them to people who can’t afford and instrument. I know how much work goes into getting that good of a result. Well worth the time!

    Took my son fishing and he caught a whopper of a Bass! He’s 12 so it made his year! Dad on the other hand was holding back the tears... I had just moved from that spot! Ugh! ?
