Hahaha my sentiments exactly! I had and I did say HAD used them for quite some time until they got all dodgy and using extortion tactics comparable to the Yakuza. I just recently ran into this same issue with a new PC build and after everything else went smoothly... waves again! The easy solution for me... delete any and all traces of waves and go on without looking back.

Sounds like someone is just trying to make money?????? And time is money. Keep them coming man! Channels like yours are supplementing the original Cake TV stuff.

How to True Stereo Pan NOT just balancing
Robert McClellan replied to Roland-Music's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Maybe I’m way out in left field here but, if the Stereo Interleave is selected and the track is a stereo WAV file, then the one knob should do the same as two would do in the aforementioned DAWs. At least to my ears, I hear the percentages being played out. Center position would be %50 Left and %50 right and if panned say right by 20 then it would be %80 right and %20 left? It just seems like less clutter to have only the one knob to me. -
It’s free...

@Jim Fogle I think I’ve found a happy medium for the cadence. Let me know what you think! @User 905133 does this seem more/less helpful?

Cakewalk by BandLab has some awesome keyboard shortcuts built under the hood to save you time. Thought I’d showcase some of my favorites.
-
Right. I have them all. I was asking for my growing community that don't have access to see if there was a work around for them to gain access.
-
Yes sir. I have all of them. I was inquiring for my audience that are new to CbB and have been researching how to get them. Thank you all for helping!

What’s up fellow fader finalgers?! I recently hosted a live event where I took a clients mix and performed EQ adjustments Live. Thought it might be helpful for some. I stream once a week and (rotate Saturday’s and Thursday’s) and I have really met some awesome people as well as a supportive group of users!

Hey all! Here’s some quick tips for getting your MIDI to sound a little less robotic. This is not the definitive guide by any means but it may at the very least help someone.

Sonar 'Legacy' plugins in BandLab Sonar
Robert McClellan replied to carlcurry's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
That makes sense I suppose. But, if they still work and are obtainable by download the they should be accessible to all. That’s unfortunate... Is there some way to create a “dummy” account that all could use to access the older rollback versions? ? IDK maybe I’m overthinking this but it just stinks that some of those awesome plugs are gone now. (For new users) -
This has always been my approach to! In fact when I released my Creating A Song Step by Step series about 3 months prior to this series. I really drove that point home.

Sonar 'Legacy' plugins in BandLab Sonar
Robert McClellan replied to carlcurry's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
So how do brand new CbB user get access to the old installers? Are they still up? -
As a longtime user (started baking with Sonar LE in before the Cleverbridge updates) I have the privilege of owning all of the old plugins from my eventual purchase of SPLAT. However, I just recently learned that new users don’t have access to these pre-existing Plugins. Is there anyway that new users can gain access to these? I’d love to be able to share with my audience how to do so. I’ve had hundreds of people asking for them already!

Thank you so much! Please know that I wasn’t offended. I’d rather someone tell me than keep making people click away because of my Micro Machines commercial... ? -
Aux Tracks and Patch Points Explained
Robert McClellan replied to Robert McClellan's topic in Tutorials
Thank you. It seems if one is to slow in their delivery it’s not good, if they’re to fast it’s not good. Perhaps one day I will find the perfect cadence and set my videos to a metronome. ? -

Cakewalk has had a lot of innovative ideas over the years. Aux tracks and patch points are no exception. These powerful tools can be used for a lot of creativity. However the question that keeps coming up is, "What is the difference between an Aux track, a Bus, and a Patch Point in Cakewalk. Well, in this video I hope to explain just that and show some practical applications of how to use them in Cakewalk by BandLab!
-
Thank you so much for clarifying this as I have been an owner since SPLAT and was not aware of the way they handled Melodyne now.
-
In this brief overview of Melodyne 5 Essential. I cover the most basic controls as well as give a couple practical examples.

I’ve tried my best to answer as many emails and comments as I can, this should help if you’re having any Cakewalk install issues! https://youtu.be/oVJ7A68yTUQ

I regularly stream my DAW on my YouTube channel, so I may be able to help. If needed I can drop some screen shots in here. So here is my workaround. I have a Focusrite 6i6 that has two headphone out jacks. I have a Stereo cable leading from one headphone jack to the Line In of the PC on the back panel. That second headphone jacks volume knob becomes my level for OBS and I have it labeled as PC Sound. I use a second cheaper M-Audio mini that I picked up for like $35 to keep my mic separate from the PC sound and set my OBS monitoring settings to hear everything in one set of headphones. (The other open jack in the Focusrite) So far over done some pretty in-depth stuff live with good results. The only time it gets crazy is when I’m interviewing someone on Skype, but there are always workarounds. ? Let me know if this helped, if not I can Skype you to help get you up and running! Below are some examples of the quality. Skype Interview: Some music playing through: Some mixing type stuff:
