  1. Thanks Tezza... quite a story... i plan on checking with the 2 local pawnees... still searching for my folder with receipts/serial numbers but it's been lost/missing during the numerous moves and 2week breakdown and packing after the foreclosure. i will be looking for recognizable bodies/cars as i go through the video files...
  2. Only had one leslie but there was also a moog Keith Emerson modular and a memorymoog...
  3. Hi Craig... Sadly, the first time it became important is the first time I don’t have insurance... whn i lost house and studio i became too poor and can’t afford it. I am slowly going through what video there is. Tedious and not good enough to see faces but maybe a car or recognize a body? i had 2 marshall stacks as a spare is always needed as well as a B3 with 147 leslie... ?
  4. Thanks Mesh... Yes, there are security cameras which I expect to have searched beginning sometime today. Still discovering more gear missing. Now adding: 8 space anvil style road rack containing: Soundscape SSHDR1 100’ 16 line audio snake 50’ 16 line audio snake
  5. I'm still in shock from this. On Saturday (my new album release and birthday) I discovered that one of my storage units was robbed. So much gear and the struggle to acquire. Due to all my moving since losing my house and studio that I am so far unable to find receipts and serial numbers. I am posting this more of frustration than belief/expectation to recover... 6. Yes... CbB has full ARA support
  7. I too run win8.1 under bootcamp on a 2010 mac pro. I don't use it as a mac... boots directly to windows and everything works fine. All plugins run as expected.

Very true, but this wasn't the first or worst. I'm long aware of my electric addiction! ????

Hope all is well by you. Stay safe! The fire missed us for the moment but we were without power for four days. Turned on yesterday afternoon
  10. Interesting. I had my problem on one machine updated immediately before and the other a brand new dell. I think it is/was up to date as it's set to auto update as I can't find a way to change that. I don't have a win10 machine myself so the only time I get in win10 is while helping friends...
  11. Manual install? It seems as though it might be win10 security not allowing programs to autorun after downloading. Cakewalk is already permitted in firewall so I tried to add bandlab, but even in %appdata% I didn't see a bandlab.exe anywhere so it must be running with a different relationship to the OS?
  12. Yes. That may help too. My early attempt gave me two of the extras but both corrupt...
  13. Did you try what I did? I left it downloading showing zero progress for near an hour before it changed back to the install button, then manually launched the update which did download to the %appdata% area during that.
  14. Hi Dan... Second win 10 machine I ran into this. On both machines, i waited long enough and tho the progress bar never appeared, BA eventually showed install again, but the file did downloaded to the bandlab assistant download folder in %appdata% and running it manually installed fine though I had to run BA again to get it authorized. Someone must know which setting to change so that win10 allows it to run as expected?
  15. Thanks again Steve! It was there and waiting. Update ran easy... ...but I still don't know why this was happening. Using win10 windows defender I was unable to add bandlab to the exceptions list. Cakewalk is already there both local and public. I'm sure I can deal with it but my friend is not that computer savvy... so I will continue to look into this each opportunity I get...
  16. Thanks! Good thought. I didn't think of that as I only use windows defender these days which doesn't seem to interfere the way McAfee & Norton often do. I don't know what he's running, but I will check that as well... [edit] I was just thinking... When I originally installed on his machine, it worked fine. Maybe a win10 update issue?
  17. Thanks scook... You're always here with valuable info and ideas. I'll ty this tomorrow if I can get access to his machine or later if not... I did think of looking but didn't...
  18. Today I ran into a problem while helping a friend. He had not updated in a while. i updated Bandlab assistant then clicked the Cakewalk update button. When it reached 100% it did nothing and the update button still said update. I repeated the update with the same result then rebooted and tried again. Same result... What might be happening here? Win10 machine just updated prior to doing this update. Any info or ideas would be appreciated very much... Thanks!
  19. I think I remember needing to download (or authorize?) kits other than install the plugin... Check your account on xln...
  20. Timing is everything! I imagine the second hotfix (build70) was not released when you performed the first update. He mentioned it a couple of days ago but it wasn't available until sometime last night/this morning.
  21. Hotfix for the hotfix. Noel mentioned it the other day.
  22. Wow! Am I dreaming or has the zoom on lanes been changed? I just zoomed some lanes and was delighted to find the comp track reasonably smaller than the zoomed lanes.... I hope this is real! ? Thanks Bakers!
  23. I believe this has been true for a long time ...
