Hi Guys I purchased ARCA Mandala 1 a few months ago via a deal. I could never get it to work so waited for Mandala 2 to be released. I have now loaded up Mandala 2 with ARCA and the free Rasa via the Pulse downloader. It scans and loads in Cakewalk - I can then insert it in a project, but no matter what I do (like uninstalling / reinstalling) and no matter what settings I use in Cakewalk, I can get no sound out of it. Has anyone got Mandala 2 working in Cakewalk? Thanks Nigel

Isolation / Kashmir Medley - John Lennon / Led Zeppelin Cover

No not at all - I was just saying my comment about the chorus getting harsh at 52 seconds was wrong!! As I said I like the track - think my comments re Ozone is still valid - I always find it over limits and in the new version, the new module(which I can't remember what it's called at the moment) does seem to add a lot of top end, which can lead to some harshness - however still playing with that so perhaps some more experience with it will bring better results -

Hi Ignore my 52 secs comment - i was listening to the wrong track! sorry about that Nigel -
Hi Thanks for taking the time to both watch and listen - I try to get the mixes to work on all platforms - i spend ages listening in the car, on my grot box, on a couple of different headphones and on my mono speaker. Cheers for the comments Appreciated Nigel

Freddy what tom said!! Otherwise enjoyed it Cool Nigel

Hi Glenn The first thing i heard (first 20 secs) on the vocal was the sibilance and the compression artifacts. i really would look at that personally. Apart from that this has the makings of a really good track Cool Nigel

Firstly, i think this could be a really really good track - however i do think the mix is a little off - for instance I am finding in the chorus? at .52 seconds the vocals get lost and it all sounds a bit harsh. With Ozone AI, i think you have to be a little careful. i use Ozone 10 (I think!) to master my demos. I let the AI run, then I normally end up pulling everything back a bit (or a lot!)- especially the limiting, which I find can over squash the final mix and can make it sound a bit harsh. Cool stuff, really is a good track! Nigel -
HI Paul Had a listen to most of the tracks - They are well put together and the mix sounds good. I think if you posted the tracks individually in the forum, you would get more response - we have just released our new album, but we then release each track everywhere individually - it definitely reaches a wider audience. Hope all goes well with the album launch Nigel

Sorry to hear about your Mom - hope she gets better soon. I love the song - really cool and great lyrics. That guitar solo at the end is Epic - I think it should be LOUDER!!!!! Great stuff Nigel
-
Hi Bob Really like this - sounds great - who did the vocals?? guitars spot on and mix is just right Great cover Nigel
-
Hi Barry - sounds pretty good - only thing I would say is that to me the bass sounded a bit boxy - might well have been my system, who knows!! Otherwise all cool Nigel
