  1. True story: Yesterday on the gig, 8 young girls came in, all wearing pink shirts with the name Barbie written across the front. They sat in the table right in front of us. We found out two of the girls were named Barbie and celebrating their birthday, so we of course “Happy Birthday” to them. But I did notice when there were coming in, walking in single file between the tables, that they were a “Barbie Queue”

  6. Police arrested two kids yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks. They charged one – and let the other one off.
  7. Did you hear about the guy who got hit in the head with a can of soda? He was lucky it was a soft drink.

  12. Highway 61 Revisited - Bob Dylan And the Johnny Winter cover Many Bob Dylan covers are better than the original. IMO, Bob was a better songwriter than a singer. And I really, really like the Johnny Winter take on this song. Notes ♫
  13. I can't give this enough likes. Not only is the music great, but the camera knows which of Jeff's hands to do a close-up on, when he is doing something super-human on the guitar. Jeff was probably the most technically proficient guitarist in rock and roll history. And the music is excellent. If you can find the DVD, rent it, as the extras are nice too. If I remember correctly, I think Jeff said that when Tal entered the studio, he thought she was someone's daughter. She is a class act, and at the time of that video, she was too young an cute to play bass so maturely. Tons of talent in that gal. Notes ♫
