  1. A Change Is Gonna Come - Sam Cooke Or if you prefer Otis Redding (I like 'em both)
  2. Good one. Careless Whisper is another. I put an extended sax solo in the middle of that one.
  3. Really was my neighbor. My yard was fenced in and I didn't own a dog. Funny thing, the neighbor's dog didn't seem high, I guess he just liked the taste of the weed. It was both funny and tragic. :D
  4. At My Front Door - the Eldorados lyric association: "Crazy little mama come knocking, knocking at my front door door door Crazy little mama come knocking, knocking at my front door Crazy little mama come knock, knock, knocking, just like she did before"
  5. In the 1960s, I had a neighbor who grew pot. When it was about to be mature, he found out his dog liked it and nibbled the hemp down to the roots.
  6. "Hound Dog" - Big Mama Thornton
  7. "I Walk On Guilded Splinters" - Dr. John
  8. I suppose that was released on the Kama Sutra lable, Craig. :D
  9. Black Flowers - Chris Isaak
  10. After all those notes, how about the "One Note Samba" ("Samba De Uma Nota So") - Stan Getz & Charlie Byrd on one of my favorite Getz albums.
  11. Here's the notation Craig, sorry I don't have the tab. I think she missed the "Release The Penguins" cue down there in the lower left.
  12. Blue Suede Shoes - Carl Perkins
  13. Have you got one for bagpipes?
  14. Since we are having a "Staycation" this year, I thought I'd revisit a vacation we had a half dozen years ago. We planned this vacation to Prague and the Czech Republic around the opening date of the Czech Philharmonic and this particular concert. It was great. I've looked for us in the audience, but the camera avoided us. I guess we weren't as interesting as some of the others. Anyway it was a great concert, a piece rarely played in the USA and worth taking our vacation a little later in the year when the fall weather made the Czech Republic cooler that we like. Josef was taught by the great composer, Antonin Dvorak and married Antonin's daughter, Otilie. He wrote this the year they both died and in memory of them. Asrael Symphony - Josef Suk
  15. "Black And Tan Fantasie" - Duke Ellington Orchestra aka Fantasy
  16. But since the above was not an association, how about Brother Louie from The Stories https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmF3jDwSTmI well that one wouldn't embed so I'll try this one:
  17. I remember opening for the Kingsmen in concert. Nice guys, but Jack Ely was no longer with them. Before that we were touring the country, and each different area and different versions of the "dirty words" that Jack mumbled in the verses. So backstage I asked them about the 'dirty words'. They said, there were no dirty words in the song, the mic was positioned too high for Jack, and he simply mumbled Richard Berry's words. They were aware of the 'dirty works' rumors that circulated around the country, and their manager told them to neither confirm or deny them, as the mystery was good for record sales. So in honor of record sales, here are the real words from the original singer.
  18. Everybody is supposed to have a hand washing song that lasts 20 seconds. For me it's "Soap And The Water" - 2 complete guitar figures, 6 bars of the "Soap And The Water" chorus and rinse. ?
  19. "Space Is The Place" - Sun Ra
  20. "Walk Away" - James Gang Joe Walsh and company made some good rock and roll
  21. "Rocket Man" - Elton John
  22. Her real name is HAL
  23. Since Mr. Cooper jumped out of an airplane with a parachute, it makes me think of: Free Fallin' - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
