I would doubt you bought the upgrade elsewhere and never entered the serial number. Then again...? lol Are you looking at your orders or your serial number page? I find it helpful to search for Komplete on my serial number page.

I checked out some of the instruments I'd get and they are intriguing - I went ahead and updated.

Thanks for the info guys. I might just upgrade now rather than waiting a year - going to spend a bit more time looking at what I get in the upgarde. Due to some hassles with using Kontakt 7 in Komplete Kontrol I am thinking about upgrading Kontakt. I know it has issues but think it would be a bit more convenient for the new libraries that run on 7. And if I'm paying $50 to upgrade Kontakt anyway...

NI is running 50% off sales on upgrades right now. I can go from 13 Ultimate Collector's Edition to 14 Ultimate Collectors Edition for $249. This seems like a good deal - unless 15 is right around the corner. Any thoughts?

Youtube was giving me warnings on Ad Blocker so I turned it off. Holly He$! I had not idea what a cesspool it is with ads! ? Loud ads that run right in the middle of your content. Ads that have no relationship to anything I've purchased or am interested in. Ads showing up NSFW. Ads that appeared to be outright scams. Just AWEFUL. ? I looked into premium but felt $14 a month was extortion. Then I saw that you can do a family plan. For $24 a month I covered me, my wife, as well as our two kids and their significant others. I felt that was a bargain, and was happy to give my kids the gift of youtube with no ads. I think they should drop the single monthly fee to around $7-8 and they would clean up.

The trick is many large (ie 120mm) fans with speed controls (something like iCue works well). The larger the fan the quieter it is - in general. You can also seek out fans with quieter specs. With many fans you can dial down the speed of them all and get quieter for the same cooling as running fewer fans at full speed. I've always built my own machines and proper airflow with a reasonable noise level is always one of my priorities - especially when water-cooling an overclocked processor and running a 4090 in the same box.

That fixed my issue, thanks! Craziest part is that NA1 took my serial and successfully registered the instrument. That would have been a great time to give me a message telling me I needed a newer version to download it. And yes - I'm on PC it and got rid of NA v1 on installation of v2. Thanks again for the help! ?

I purchased this yesterday - but it's still not showing in Native Access as a product. I even registered the serial number manually (something the instructions said was unnecessary). And their support ticket system keeps locking up when I try to create a ticket... Something ain't right over there.

I sold our business in June and one of the things I'm most proud of is I was able to be successful staying true to my values and moral compass. For many years I watched SO MANY people make a lot of money by misleading, outright lying, bullying, and cheating. I really wondered (not philosophically, but REALLY wondered) if I could achieve a high level of success being ethical. When I think about our sale in my gratitude exercises I often express gratitude for getting to do it my way - providing value to customers and taking great care of our employees. I'm also very glad we sold when we did - one thing that I realized from talking to all the big private equity groups is that to get us to the next level it would have taken a shift in our company that would have required me to act outside of my comfort zone. I was not looking forward to five years of that - in fact I was losing a LOT of sleep thinking about that.

I feel that I have to try this. I love when developers come up with new ways to make music. I'm off to order it now...

Yep! ? The CEO Philip is a very interesting, kind, and talented guy. He designed these instruments, and he has some really cool ideas for the future as well. Since I ran a decent sized software company before I sold it in June AND I have most of the VST instruments known to man - I am so grateful to be given the chance to meet with them and offer whatever thoughts/services I can that they might find valuable. I would love to see them successful. ?

I'm currently checking out their instruments to provide feedback for them - so if anyone here has them I'd love to hear your thoughts. The guys at Nightfox Audio are good people...

I gave up on Corel because I couldn’t stop the constant desktop spam pop up’s. I’m currently testing the Affinity suite and plan to purchase on Black Friday. They are great tools! ?

If I didn't have two years left of subscription I'd get a perpetual license. I create in Ableton but mix in Pro Tools. I have a pair of Avid S1 control surfaces and to me that's the best option I've found for mixing.

As a long-time UAD user it's been fun to watch you guys get excited adding UAD plugins to your collection. Thank make some fantastic plugins!
