Perhaps it’s my age (I turn 53 next month) but the first thing I thought of when I read CLAP was the STD. I think the problem is made worse by having it in all caps. I have a software company and I can tell you it’s hard to please everyone. That said I think this was a terrible naming idea and it will have a negative effect. Not saying it will kill it but why would you want to start your launch with ANY sort of handicap? Wven one you can cure with a shot? Lol ok I had to go there. still - less than optimal name.

I agree it seems like a loop library so I’m holding off until I know more.

Go to Youtube and google Zero G Inner Balance. There is a brand called Zero Gravity that makes a chair called Inner Balance and there are a ton of videos about the chair. Not sure this is the best naming scheme, but I really like Zero G and may just pick this up without any additional videos. Maybe.

Hi all, I'm a competent guitar player and I'm fairly strong with music theory. I can do some basic chording and leads on a keyboard but really I'm doing little more than hacking at it. I want to get good at keyboards. Note I didn't say I want to play the piano well - I want to get good at keyboards so I can be more creative using VSTs. I just upgraded to a Komplete Kontrol S88 keyboard. Do any of you know any good online programs to progress quickly? I'm willing to put in some time but the thought of going down the path of traditional piano lessons gives me the shakes. Or maybe the shakes are because my wife was diagnosed with Covid yesterday and I think any little thing is my first sign of having it... At any rate - thanks for any help you can provide!

I liked Spaces so I went ahead and picked up Opus. Seems like that AD discount might be the cheapest it's every been. Now to clear some disk space...

I had a guy steal source code from my company and we sued him. It took 3 years to win and I got a judgement for $600k. I spent about $150k on the suit. He has no money, so I will reclaim none of the damages. This is a much more difficult and complicated situation that you all might think, and it's more difficult because one person is in Russia. My guess is the code wasn't actually copyrighted. A lot of developers believe there is an automatic copyright on published code but it doesn't work that way (I found that out the hard way). Of all the charges we brought against the guy copyright infringement wasn't one of them. Instead, we had to go for things like Unfair Competition (for example, you can't take a competitor's bicycle and change the seat and call it your own). Legal is tricky, expensive, and often ugly. What I know for sure is this is NOT how you handle this situation. All that the company should have said is "Unfortunately, there has been a disagreement between parties and now the attorneys are involved and sorting it out. Please be patient with us as we navigate this issue." and NOTHING ELSE. Offering a public list of your grievances and differences only hurts you - period. I wish them both the best of luck - but boy do I wish for both their sakes they take this offline.

Looks like it's just on the Get Current products. I'm waiting for a sale on the subscription renewals. I plan to buy a few and not have to worry about it for a few years.
