  1. Alrighty, I'm finally in! 195 euros (VAT included) got me every qualifying product I was missing + The Resonator. Now I just need to start the selection rhumba. But what should I do with the leftover freebies? I'm pretty sure it doesn't, unfortunately. Edit: Yeah, it's not listed in the qualifying Sample Tank instruments.
  2. I'm still waiting for IK to handle things, but in the meanwhile: are individual instruments from Cinekinetik and Electromagnetik selectable as freebies?
  3. Please don't, because I'll just watch it and I know what will happen after that, and I already have enough keyboards...
  4. I did and I have the voucher, but I don't think I need this many keyboards.
  5. There used to be a band called Free Beer* in Finland. I heard they always played to a full house for some reason. *) "Ilmaista kaljaa" in Finnish for those who want to learn essential survival phrases.
  6. Might have to demo this one. I don't have that many basses yet.
  7. Ah, ok. I often see people complaining about samplers that are not Kontakt, so I mistook what you said as criticism. Glad to hear that Spitfire's player doesn't give cause for complain in this case.
  8. I understand that Kontakt incompatibility is a downside, but why is using their own player a bad thing? So far I've been using separate instances of Kontakt for each track without problems. I find it easier and more flexible than routing everything through a single instance. Also, the orchestrations I do are very small. There are not going to be dozens of tracks with BBSCO on them, so I don't think it's going to be a problem for me personally.
  9. I stumbled into this and thought I'd share it, since I know there are people here who are interested in visual arts. https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/reference They also have quite a few free sample packs and $1 sets on their main page. Here are the free sets I found: (FYI, the first 6 pages may contain pictures of scantily clad people. No actual nudity, though.) https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/reference-pictures https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/sample-pack-2 https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/sample-pack-3 https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/figure-drawing-sample https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/queen-of-hearts (free sample available) https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/figure-drawing-liz (free sample available) https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/basic-forms https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/sky-reference https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/appalachian-spring https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/wiltshire https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/montenegro https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/shiny-forms And some other freebies: https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/mapmaking (map making toolkit) https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/progress-grid (a printable grid) https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/hardsoft (a PhotoShop brush) https://referencepictures.gumroad.com/l/landscape-fundamentals (a sample of a course)
  10. Soo... I guess BBC Core is currently the best orchestral library you can get for €200, if you are not scoring film music? I have Amadeus Symphonic Orchestra and Kirk Hunter's Virtuoso Ensembles and they have worked fine for my purposes, but I wouldn't mind upgrading to a more realistic sound, if that is what this will get me. I also definitely don't mind eating nothing but noodles for a month.
  11. https://www.sonnox.com/toolbox/claro Zo mentioned this in another thread so I searched for it and found out it came out just this week. The retail price is $134 but until 1st of December you can get it for $99. The best deal seems to be at Audio Deluxe. With the code "Fall21" the price goes down to $88.98 and you get $4.44 Deluxe Bucks. JRR sells it for $88.11 with the code "FORUM". "Smart" plugins seems to be a growing trend...
  12. I'm probably buying Falcon this weekend. Any recommendations which expansions I should consider as the freebies? I'm trying to build a synth library that would give me some good, modern sounds, if that helps any.
  13. Love it? I haven't even installed it! I was just disappointed out of principle for not getting that offer, but I think that I have actually unsubscribed from their newsletter. I get too much mail as it is. It's all good, folks.
  14. Great. Something went wrong with the payment process. PayPal shows the payment went through but IK's website got stuck in the "Processing payment" stage. Let's see how IK's infamous customer support works with me... Good thing I didn't wait until the last day of the group buy.
  15. Thanks! It looks like I have them all from AmpliTube 4 MAX, so one €200 purchase should be enough for me.
  16. Yes, but I don't see the X-pedals on that list, for example. Are there any other "secret" products that are available as a freebie?
  17. Available until 17th of September 11:59 PM AEST. https://www.zenhiser.com/collections/fx/products/spinback-and-tapestop-fx
  18. Slightly stupid question to EU residents or @Peter - IK Multimedia: Is VAT added to the prices when using gear credits in the Custom Shop? I would guess not because to my knowledge there isn't such a thing as half a credit and I already pay VAT when I buy the gear credits. Right?
  19. Yeah, I'm trying to decide between 225 and 300 gear credits. I already have 25 gear credits, and since I have Total Studio 2 MAX I think one entry at €200 and another at €50 would get me everything I'm missing, but I'm not sure if there is something interesting in the freebies that are above the €50 level. 300 gear credits would be the best bang for the buck, but that might end up being money wasted.
  20. Alright, so gear credits is the way to go, then. Thanks!
  21. Could someone confirm that if I pay €149.99 for Electromagnetik or Cinekinetik collection it will give me the freebies in the €200 tier? And if I buy two qualifying products at two different price levels I will get twice the freebies but half of those freebies will be of lesser value than the other half?
  22. Now you tell me! Oh, well. It took some juggling but I think I managed to use my $50 voucher pretty well. I got the Acon Digital Restoration Suite 2, Chandler Limited GAV19T (with the discount for buying PT100) and Lindell Audio 254E for a total of $37.97, or about $12.66 a piece (+ VAT). And thanks to Eusebio I now still have the generic $25 voucher. Nice.
