I think it would actually make sense for me to buy one of these. bx_masterdesk and bx_console Focusrite are both on my list, and they alone would cost around $40. Even if I didn't care for the other plugins, the free plugins from Focusrite Collective would probably make it worth it in the long run. The interface might be useful, too. Edit: Do you get the previous free plugins retroactively, or are they only for current owners?

I'm pretty sure that foreign companies who sell products to Turkish people are legally obligated to charge VAT. Admittedly, I don't know how taxation works in Turkey, but the whole point of Value Added Tax is that it is added to the price of the product. Businesses then pay that money forward to the governments. Private citizens do not declare the amount of VAT of their purchases except in special circumstances. Whenever I try to upgrade my Wives plugins they start acting up, giving me all kinds of strange messages and making weird, scary sounds. Removing them is also a pain, as the process either simply fails (the infamous "are you sure you want to do this?" loop) or some important stuff is removed with them (and even then they usually leave all kinds of useless clutter behind). I've also noticed that I can't use more than one in a single session or they interfere with each other. Lovely sound, though, and the UI is really pretty.

Unless you're specifically looking for something for a dollar, The Amazonic's AMA I Complete Edition is the cheapest it has ever been. A week after I bought it 40% off... I'm planning to spend my $50 voucher on this sale, because I don't believe there will be a better opportunity this month. I'm probably wrong, but I'm used to it. In any case, my choices are either three $29.99 plugins ($13.32 each), two $39.99 plugins ($14.99 each) or a $29.99 and a $49.99 plugin ($14.99 each). So the prices are not that bad, but the choices are a bit slim. I'll probably go for Chop Shop + Big Al or DSM V3 + Magnum-K.

Those new tapes wouldn't have made my music any better. But I fear that because I went with the group buy instead of the MAX upgrade it's going to take a long time until the MAX will have enough new plugins to justify the price of an upgrade. I think this is a good time for me to finally make a list of plugins I actually need and buy only things that are on that list. I bet it's a short list.
