  1. I disabled DPI and I didn't see any difference. However, I did discover the display scale slider right below, so I bumped that up and now my old eyeballs are happier. Thanks for your suggestions!
  2. Snap to scale is wonderful if you compose in PRV, especially for multi-part harmony. You can create your own scales, too. The dark lines show what notes are not in your chosen scale; when it's turned on, you're prevented from putting notes on the dark lines, and when you drag notes up or down, the same is true.
  3. Yes, indeed. I thought I had replied, but I think I was moderated. Anyway, your suggestion was excellent, and I appreciate the time you took to help me.
  4. Thanks, I think this is the best option for me. I didn't like it at first, because I use Snap to Scale all the time and the illegal notes for a scale are super heavy black, but I guess I can used to it. Thanks for your helpful suggestion.
  5. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I couldn't get it to work, though.
  6. I can't find an acceptable color theme even after tweaking my monitor settings: In PRV note names are hard to read in dark themes. In Track View, notes are hard to see in light gray theme.
  7. Drawing automation lines is difficult eraser and move tools add nodes and drags lines can't drag a line section up and down, only one node moves (see attached) automation.webm
  8. I have sonar pinned to the win 11 taskbar. When I froze Sonar with Win-M, I was able to restore it by right clicking on the Sonar taskbar icon and I got a menu with a list of recent files and an entry "Cakewalk Sonar". Clicking on that brought it back to life.
  9. What is this record icon in the track lane that is an open circle with a dot and a line thru it? I don't recall seeing this in previous versions.
  10. You could try a different color theme such a "mercury".
  11. There is ANY_THIN.CAL that says it will reduce any controller.
  12. It doesn't work if auto-focus is enabled in the PRV.
  13. I think this would be useful. Being able to accomplish frequently used tasks like clip muting with a either mouse or keyboard workflows is a good thing.
  14. Have you looked into creating a preset? Under Export>Advanced
  15. Here's a little bug with Exclusive Solo. I'm on Version 2022.11 build 021, 64 bit) 1) Turn on Exclusive Solo for a track. 2) Select some notes on the PRV and perform any Process, such as Length... or Scale Velocity. 3) The track is silenced - Cakewalk behaves as if the track is unsolo'd, even though the tracks Solo button is still lit.
  16. It would be very helpful to have a high lighted border around the pane that is in focus. Especially useful when using keyboard commands that have different functions depending on whether you're in the TrackView or PRV panes. For example Shift-S\ back spaces in the TrackView but solos/un-solos all tracks in the PRV is in focus. Also useful if you activate the scrub tool, which hangs if you're in the TrackView.
