Got to say these are pretty sweet. Been enjoying NewMello 1 for quite some time now, even though I’ve also got Gforce MTronPro and expansions. There’s something about samples synths (and Mellotrons) I love. Syntronik is another good example.

Anything not to miss?

Wondering how UltraReverb compares to the other Eventide verbs. I only have Stereo Room and Blackhole.

I seriously think Nimbus does indeed do everything PhoenixVerb does, and much more (warping). So, getting PhoenixVerb won’t get you anything you don’t already have. Except for a shiny new plugin saying PhoenixVerb.

Still strange that iZotope include both Phoenix as well as Nimbus in their Reverb Bundle offer, yet only R4 (and not R2). Do they know something they’re not telling?

Apparently not. Nor does R4 replace R2. Several threads on this at KVR & Gearslutz. Also, the iZotope Stereo Reverb Bundle includes both Phoenix and Nimbus. Edith: on the other hand, I think only desperate verb lovers like me would buy Phoenix if they already have Nimbus. But hey, it’s like getting the laptop version for a tenner

Already had R2, R4 and Nimbus, but mighty pleased I got Phoenix in this sale. Thanks to Larry.
