They sometimes do specific upgrade sales. If you’re new, I think there’s a 20% off deal on Standard now, which you would need if you want the layering and morphing. If you upgrade between tiers, you always get an extra instrument. Upgrading from version 6 to 7 is always pretty cheap, $29 or so, no matter which tier you’re in.

And this time there are some very interesting creative possibilities added, like layering and morphing. Plus a new Steinway D from New York to accompany the Hamburg one. And the updated engine, of course.

There were only two odd newbs after you, Reid. And they probably wouldn’t have done it if they knew you. Everyone else didn’t bother at all. Which is how it should be. You’re a Cakie, always were, always will be. One of us. Always welcome. As for a policy, maybe that’s a good idea, especially if it could help our king. But all in all I find this forum one of the best around because we seem to get along fine without too many rules and regulations. I guess that’s what makes the Cake forum unique and draws people in. Hell, I don’t even use Sonar.

Both. Keyscape will give you over 1000 combined presets with Omnisphere. Some of the absolute greatest sampled keyboards are in Keyscape. And they play well. Pianoteq has best playability as it’s modeling but I’d wait for their next sale. Should be coming up for BF and save you at least 20%.
