  1. No. That is really the first time I've seen that reply in this forum and usually that's often the translation. I knew you were not serious about it. Now if I were serious in believing you were serious I just happen to buy some trance templates today and would have bounced one of them down and said "here you go sucka". Be sure to check out those one synth challenge videos. Those are always great. They humble you and make you envious.
  2. I've always used the batch convertor in Soundforge. The other one I use is Db Poweramp.
  3. That sounds like a "musta hurt a fanboy'z feelings reply". I have the stereo typical trance synths. I would not buy it based on that demo. It's very thin sounding and no fatness like you would hear using Spire demo. Here is the one synth challenge. https://www.fathomsynth.com/artists
  4. Tempting if I didn't have 1,007,594 synths. That Trance demo is not that great. BTW check out the contest demos if one is interested.
  5. They own Music Tech Magazine and I'm surprised they haven't put Bandlab in their content. We have no idea what is going on in Asia. Maybe Bandlab is popular there. No one has ever made a DAW that's free that comes close to Bandlab. So if you use it religiously than you can spend your money on gear instead of DAW upgrades which some developers seem to push then out on an annual basis.
  6. Some people have insecurity issues when it comes to their choice of DAW. In the real world the listener doesn't care. Go look at CDs and see what's listed in the making of it. You might see gear listed if the artists have sponsorship.
  7. LOL - no soul, the vaguest term in music. I heard that about dance genres, like duh it's for dancing. Just assume the average listener is totally stupid about what good music is despite they are the ones who purchase music. Just like anything else if you want to make income go where the market is. I remember when Metallica went mainstream. People said they sold out. Metallica's replay was, "We did! Everywhere we went." These videos are a dime a dozen. The reality is when you get into music performing or production your ears are no longer that stupid listener who puts forth money in music. Instead we become that listener who thinks that $500 reverb you bought will be noticed by that same stupid listener. Most of the stuff we buy are to impress our audience instead of those stupid listeners.
  8. I bought it 2 months before it shut down. I could be worse if you are a Mac user and would have to buy new versions of software like Live and Finale to use Catalina.
  9. I have no issues with the way IK does it. It goes to my download folder and then I can archive it.
  10. If you have Jam points it's hard to beat Miroslav 2 for $70.
  11. Miroslav has the better licensing. No dongle needed.
  12. Peavey' licensing sucks. Definite black list for me.
  13. Well so much for that. I had Spark Dubstep and there was a crossgrade for Spark 2 for $20 and it came with no iLok nonsense. So I went for that.
  14. So what did you all get. I want all of them. I keep forgetting what a gem Analog Lab is and don't use it.
  15. Same here. The only bummer about the Exponential Audio products is they need iLok and the option is the dongle or one machine. As for Izotope stuff they can be install on multiple machines.
  16. I am so predictable. I must be an IK fanboy.
  17. O-n t-h-e f-e-n-c-e. I'm somewhat of an IK fanboy despite remembering to use their stuff.
  18. I fell off. Resizable GUI did it for me. Plus I'm a fanboy of their stuff.
  19. Why? I have CE and don't really use it. It seems you have to work at it to sound playable. I'm thinking of getting it so I can say the same thing.
  20. 3 stars - never fond of an all in one unit by any manufacturer. Unfortunately to run devices on iPads you need a newer one.
  21. I do get it. They've probably had more support request for picking the wrong one. So has anyone decided what to do with the choices that have everything. I'm thinking of another copy of Lursen for machine 3 and 4.
  22. If I only had those problems. Usually the updates break my home network. Reverting to previous install is the only solution. So far none of them have made it to where I can't use my M-Audio PCI cards. Usually the network sharing is broken in the (f)updates.
  23. If they do that in the future you wont have to pay for it. Melda has lifetime upgrades.
