Yeah. I'd been a bit underwhelmed with them before. But I think these updates will open them up.

A big update on the Play Series for Kontakt. Additions for Ethereal Earth/Analog Dreams/Hybrid keys. Four new pages for tweaking sounds, sequencing, effects, and macro controls. And 100 new presets. Run Native Access to update. ?

The Ton looks good. For some reason I missed it last year and it had British Drama Toolkit (something I've wanted for ages), EDNA Earth, and a piano. I've been kicking myself since.

And mine too. I have all of them and find them popping up in all my work. Someday I'll have to buy something off Spitfire to justify all their freebies !

I like the idea of being able to use BBCSO Discover in this way with Articulation maps. Will make things a whole lot easier.

Installed a couple of week ago and did the update (KB4571744) that was supposed to fix lots of issues such as the continual defrag of SSD. It has improved performance for me. Including the ability to open Soundforge from a desktop icon that on 1909 would not do so unless run as admin.

I have K12. So will wait till next summer (whimper, drool) as I usually do and get the update on a drive for £79. That's a lot for less than the price of Super 8.

Hi. I'm afraid the Protues VX will not work under W10 in Cakewalk. It will work as a standalone. I also have it in a 32bit version of Sonar 8.5 that works. It inserts in Cakewalk but all that appears is a small square with no detail other than the plugin name. I tried with admin permissions and running as a W7 programme. But to no avail. It is old though and the architecture is probably out of date.I f you have a version of Sonar. Then Dimension Pro is superior.

Thanks again DeeringAmps. The bass is a Kontakt freebie I have had for some years from Sample Modern called Deep Bass. Sample Modern is now defunct. However I've searched around and have found it here https://nouveaubaroque.weebly.com/blog/sample-modern-is-off-but From the originator (along with some other stuff as well). It's a very solid but tweakabke bass sound I've used a lot. Cheers P P

Yes. Signing up for this was a bit flaky as was the downloading. Surprised to see the downloader is 500mb sitting on my desktop. That's a bit of a waste of space. So will probs delete it.

HI. The last update of K5 was at 5.8.1 before it went to K6. You can update to 5.8.1 through native access still. It may also be that some library you are using needs higher than 5.1.

The builder has issued version 1.04 addressing some of the issues raised. I've personally had none with it so far.

I got these via VI-Control. They needed a batch resave and pointing to the NKR file. But worked ok once done.

I've had none of the issues as mentioned on KVR. But have d/loaded v1.02. So will thrash it tomorrow.

Can confirm its a 64/32 bit vsti. So Kontakt not required. Has behaved with Cakewalk. Just been lost in a pile of nostalgia with it and wondering how I thought I was going to conquer the world with it back then....ha !

The one thing Iacking from the original was no filter. And still don't know where to place the preset "kill the fly"
