I bought the Humble Bundle. And have found two of my TR5 modules have not updated. I informed support 10 days ago had a support number. And not heard a thing since. I have a feeling they just want this to go away.

Picked up Firemaster at Loot Audio. Cheaper than PB and just 40 pence more than UP. Plus 2 freebies . Stuck it on a couple of tracks and worked well.

Been away for some time (but still lurking the forum). Working on a new Bemused release. And re-worked an older track I did 10 years ago. Sort of Nils Petter Molvaer/Jon Hassell thing.

Variety of Sound (VoS) has updated a number of his plugins (Windows only). ThrillseekerXTC, BaxterEQ, epicPlate MKII, Flavour MTC, Epic Clouds. The blog explains about better compatability on W10 with some DAWs (does not mention which). They all are now VST3, and a couple have had further enhancements.

I have installed the VST3 versions on Cakewalk by Bandlab and have found that FlavourMTC as listed in the DAW .When inserted is in fact BaxterEQ. And Flavour MTC is not to be found at all. Not sure if developer error or CWB. All work fine in Soundforge PRO 13 as VST3.

Thanks for this. i never got an email. But was able to add them to my tally. However (hoping) to upgrade to TRacks 6 and having never used my jampoints before. Found out I can only use max 30% of them against a purchase. So they will gather dust still.

I've seen that APD have the IKM Tracks 5V2 on offer for $39 (£31 for me). But concerned that IKM will not honour it as they are pushing TRacks 6. I have TRacks 5 SE and don't need 6. But this would be a good one as I can use the individual modules in my DAW. Is APD right in selling this older version? Will IKM honour it?

PB have added a IKM TRacks Studio Bundle as a giveaway with purchase. Includes Space Delay, White Channel and Tape machine 440. Seems a goodie. However It doesn't state if they are TR5 or TR6. I only have TR5 and have heard there are issues with TR6 not recognising TR5 modules. I would grab these otherwise. Offer is until 29th Nov.

Have to say that when I cloned my OS HDD to the Samsung EVO 860 about 2.5 years ago. I used the Samsung Magician software to do so. And it went without a hitch.

Just read about a high failure rate just after the pandemic of the EVO870s (mostly 4TB). Due to shortages of materials and sourcing from outside their usual channels.

Samsung never commented.

Hi All. A simple question. I'm tempted to update a Crucial 1TB SSD to  2TB Samsung EVO 870. This is my D drive (samples) out of three C - OS (Samsung 860 500)/D (Crucial MX500 1TB Samples - NI etc)/  E - Crucial MX500 1TB - none Kontakt full libraries etc.

I had been aware of lots of issues with the 870EVO's (Mainly 4TB and about 2021-22 I think). Has anyone bought a 870 in the last year and is it ok?. It's on sale for £109 so much cheaper than usual. Just a bit concerned that things have not been addressed. And there is a lot of conflicting info out there.
