  1. All my Lab libraries work fine....the problem was at some point they changed how they stored the libraries on hd. If I recall originally each had a folder with a sample folder and an instrument folder inside. When they changed they split the Sample and the Instrument files to 2 different locations. I just moved all my old libraries to the new locations and they all showed up including the original Lab instruments I had purchased! I haven't changed to the Splice version of Labs, I'm a musician so no loops for me!
  2. I lost interest in Def Leppard with the third album but the first two were great! High 'n'Dry definitely had an ACDC sound but the first one On Through the Night rocked!
  3. I think I changed two things when I installed Win 11 on the new build...I moved the taskbar to the left(where it belongs! ) and unchecked Hide File extensions. For someone on an older machine 10-11 is a big deal but if you're machine is from the past 5 years or so it's clear sailing! My main DAW is Nuendo and I also run Wavelab Pro, Halion, and Dorico Pro. Serial/Registration is the best route for activation but after that I'd rather have iLok than a million manufacturer's licensing apps! Even with serials people had problems, as I recall they had to run as admin first and then close and go back to user.
  4. When I think top tier it's Avid, Steinberg, Waves, Hofa, Presonus, UAD, u-he, Arturia, EastWest... How the software is licensed doesn't affect quality for me but I've never had trouble with iLok, eLicenser, etc. The only time I had trouble was with IK Multimedia and that was after a windows update. I miss Win 7, it was the last OS to not change the identity of your machine at major updates! With that said my Win 11 system runs like a beast...I did jump from 7 to 11. I skipped 8...or what I call WinMe for Millennials I used 10 for an internet machine but used 7 for my DAW till I built a new one a couple of years ago and went with 11.
  5. No problems here, I was able to grab it Thursday afternoon. Look forward to checking it out
  6. I still have my Tascam 122 Stereo Cassette Deck
  7. They have upgrade pricing, log in and go to the product and use the product purchase type to change to upgrade
  8. Big Strawbs fan here! Dave Cousins had a unique voice that I really enjoyed
  9. Out now Ancient Kingdom
  10. I fix phase correlation issues with either iZotope Imager during mixing or with the Imager Module in Wavelab Masterrig. Phase correlation is very important to make sure a mono listening environment doesn't drop out. It also helps to balance frequency content.
  11. Best wishes, may the force be with you
  12. Mixbus was my my go to when I used Sonar...Sonar for recording and Mixbus for mixing. Mixbus is a lot of fun to use! Now that I'm using Nuendo I'm doing everything in that but I did upgrade to Mixbus 10 so I'm thinking of mixing in it for fun
  13. I have to sign in sometimes...doesn't appear to be tied into anything like OS updates, etc. just random times it comes up.
  14. The best DAW is the one you enjoy using and get work done in...for me that's Nuendo.
