Is there a way to remove all track instrument patches at one time? [SOLVED]
user905133 replied to tdehan's question in Q&A
If it were me, I'd use the replace synth command. We now have the option of replacing it on just the current instrument track or on all instrument tracks that use a specific synth. Replace Synth For All Tracks Using This Synth... Replace Synth on This Track Only... I generally use this from the right-click context menu in the track header pane. Update: I just tried and the replace for all tracks commands didn't work for me. So I tried it again and the option to replace all tracks wasn't there. Just tried it again and now I only get the single Replace Synth... option. -

Just to be clear, when I said the original was a toy, I didn't mean it wasn't useful. For example, try this: Load the Cherry Audio MG-1 (free). Run it through Arturia's Filter MS-20 (was free a few weeks back). Choose "Big Sweep" on the MG-1 (others produce musical results, too). Choose "Break Beat HP Self Seq" on the MS-20. Play a basic Bass note progression.

Did you ever play the one Radio Shack sold? It was a toy. So that means Cherry Audio got it right!!!!!

Why is changing the key of my project not working?
user905133 replied to SkyDropsBeats's question in Q&A
Considering that the OP never returned after that date, if you have a feature request based on what you want, you might want to post it in the Feedback section as your own request.- 15 replies

Thanks for the heads up. I don't get the newsletter, so I decided to look at the website and was offered a TONEX survey which gave me free AT5 virtual gear which I don't have yet (an Amp and a Cab not in AT5 MAX/TS3.5 MAX)!! ?

I don't want to risk taking this feature request in yet another direction. So, if anyone who has CbB and Voltage Modular Core is interested in a method for setting up the two so MIDI data (1) can be recorded on a MIDI track in CbB (to be played back and edited later), (2) routed to Voltage Modular, and then (3) routed back so CbB sees VM as a MIDI source which can be selected as a MIDI input for multiple software synths hosted in CbB, feel free to PM me.

Sounds like a blend of lots of influences. Well done!!!

Yes. I generally don't click on the time line, so I was trying to understand how it works, but was was unable to trigger random selections. However, today I played around with setting start and end points (From and Thru) from Menu Bar > Edit > Selection to see if I could trigger random selections by doing single clicks on the time line. Unlike yesterday, today I was able trigger the appearance of a Selection from a single click on the time line. In all cases it happened when I clicked in the upper portion of the timeline and the cursor had changed to a magnifying glass and a downward arrow. Any time I clicked on the bottom half of the time line with the normal basic mouse cursor arrow, the Now line just moved, no green-makers-and-bar Selection happened. I don't generally click on the time line to set the Now marker and I never pay attention to the the cursor changes on the time line. I'm not sure if the top/bottom hot spot makes a difference in your results what you do. Also, although I am familiar with CbB cursor changes in other places, I cannot explain why the cursor over the time line changes to a magnifying glass and the downward arrow. I am sure I read about it either in documentation of in the forum, but I cannot find where saw that. I hope someone else can help figure out why you you are getting random selections from single time line clicks.

Do any of these help: Menu Bar > Edit > Select > None Ctrl + Shift + A Setting up a custom keyboard short cut: Preferences > Customization [Advanced Mode] >Global Bindings > Keyboard Shortcuts Edit | Select | None Not holding the mouse button down when moving the Now Time cursor after placing it on the Time Line with a single click?

Good news: In my profile there was no evidence that my Pass was extended by this offer. So, I tried it again as if the first time didn't get credited to my account. And as of today, I have been extended until Feb 7th! ? No idea if that will be the case tomorrow. "If at first you succeed and then you get nullified, try, try again." ?

Update: The internet giveth and the internet taketh away: "You do not have an active All-Access Pass at this time." ?♂️

C = Channel (track control / widget) - not forced to a single channel If this parameter was changed to a single channel, the midi data will be sent to the same channel.
-
Google Translate says: Do you have the track forced to send midi data to a single track?

A fun listen!! I especially like the tribute to Canned Heat - La rueda que mueve al mundo. Google translates it as: The wheel that moves the world. We're on the road again!!! ?

I think if you hold 8dio in high esteem, rather than provoke a battle, it would have been more helpful if you shared your positive experiences with their products. If you want to "unbookmark" that is a personal choice, but bringing up the issue the way you did--pitting one forum and its participants against another forum and its participants--doesn't really tell readers why you would recommend 8dio products, why you think their prices are not over-inflated, why you think their marketing strategy is a good one, etc. As for discussions of marketing/promotional practices, as a consumer of products I have found quite a number of those discussions very useful. If you are not interested, that's fine (its a matter of personal choice), but I would feel at a disadvantage if that kind of information was withheld based on your personal preferences.

I think you are onto something here. So, I was inspired to look up "Who coined the term "Metaverse?" Google came up with an article that included this as part of a chronology: Very much looking forward towards seeing your take(s) on "The Metaverse." -
Yes; there was a version in the SONAR Edition of Session. If you registered it with AAS, it might be on their site; if not I'd encourage you to contact them. They might ask for proof of purchase of SONAR; not sure. Someone has posted a spreadsheet of what plug-ins came with SONAR if they say you need to send proof such as a screen shot from SONAR showing the serial number.

Does YouTube have a censor-type program you can run them through in advance of posting them to avoid being cancelled again? If not, and you want to be bold, there's a whole range of things you can talk about in a video or two or three . . . !!!!! ? -
I looked at Flintpopes's offerings. I saw a lot of Kontakt (Full required) which I don't have, but he did have 3 mini Pigments 3.5 Packs for a total of 26 presets. I have 4.0 so only 3 of the presets use samples I don't have--two use Amethyst samples and one uses an Onyx sample. One layer on all 3 still works and I can tweak it to replace the sample I don't have. I'd classify them as ambient / experiments. I can use them for projects. Zip files with a *.pgtx file each, easily imported. Re: Hearing Issue: I can hear them below about 3 KHz. If there are any high pitches, I'd have to wait for one of my kids to walk in cover their ears and say "WHAT IS THAT LOUD HIGH PITCH SOUND?!!" True story, that happened a few days ago when I was auditioning a patch. Yes, I know, I can also use a spectrum analyzer. I should probably have that on all the time anyway. Anyhow, I wanted to update this thread re: the Pigments packs in case others can use them. My PC did not find anything malicious about the 3 zip files of the pgtx files. Thanks for the link.

I have thought of going visual, too, due to hearing issues.
