Sorry for such a newb question, but does this also apply to getting Obduction from Epic Games via their Epic Installer?
For me, I just have a main play machine.
This play machine runs all the games I'm getting from Steam, Epic, Uplay, Battle.net, GOG, JRRShop, Audioplugindeals, VSTBuzz, Audiodeluxe, Pluginboutique, Everyplugin, ADSRSounds, etc.
Jokes aside, maybe I've been lucky but I haven't seen any conflicts between the game distribution platforms and the Audio Software. If I am doing something that is really CPU intensive I may exit whatever background service I'm not using at the time, but most of the time I just let everything run. Of course, if my income depended on the DAW I wouldn't put any games (not even GOG).

Let's do some mashup innovation with the ideas that have been thrown in the thread
- It's a new amp simulator (a new version of Amplitube, since we're talking IK)
- with a new footswitch multi-pedal hardware controller
- that runs with (Apple?) mobile hardware inside of it, so that the only cables needed are those for connecting to guitar and speakers, (no computers around the stage, and the footswitch case is designed to protect your device from stomps and kicks)
Where's a patent attorney when you need one?

Ujam has started a 50% off summer sale. You can find these deals at https://www.ujam.com/summer-madness/ or the usual online stores.
It looks like coupons are not applicable for this sale and our best bet is to purchase somewhere that has some form of "purchase reward" like Kilohearts Bitcrush at adsrsounds, Izotope Phoenixverb, Virtual Cash and Rewards+ at pluginboutique, deluxe bucks at audiodeluxe or best coin at bestservice (e.g, for Beatmaker Void it's VC £1.27+0.5 tokens, DB $3.45 or €1.03 respectively)
https://www.audiodeluxe.com/brand/ujam?f[0]=bm_field_on_sale_now%3Atrue
https://www.pluginboutique.com/deals/show?sale_id=7342
https://www.adsrsounds.com/software-developer/ujam/
https://www.bestservice.com/ujam_instruments.html
Note also that, similar to past ujam sales, there are also "exclusives". Deeper discounts for specific products, that are different depending on which store you go to
Beatmaker Eden $19 https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products/virtual-instruments/ujam-eden-2
Beatmaker Hype $19 https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/1-Instruments/64-Virtual-Instrument/6700-HYPE
(and, if you find more of these exclusives, please post a link!)

Any details on the extra plugins? are they worth the purchase? Can they be installed separately? (a separate installer would be useful if we already have pro tools)
-
@Leok85 Yes, that's how it should work (as long as the current policy for upgrades stays the same - they've maintained it for years but, as financial advisors say, "past performance does not guarantee future results")

It's not only 0.5 to full. I've held Cubase update codes without registering them for more than a cycle. The way I've observed it works is:
The version you're upgrading from is fixed to a specific version number (or range of versions, depending on what you buy). E.g., if you buy an upgrade for 10.5 -> 11 you cannot use it for 7.5 -> 11
Your eLicenser will get a license for the latest available version at the time of registration. This applies to full licenses as well, not just updates/upgrades
Examples:
- I bought an update code for Cubase 7.5 -> 10 in May 2019 and registered it at the end of last year, I got a license for Cubase 11
- I bought an old boxed version of Dorico 1.0 in August last year that was on clearance (from an amazon.com marketplace seller). When I registered it I got a license for Dorico 3.5
This is how it worked in the past but as far as I know it is not in any "contract" or entitlement. It is a very generous policy so it shouldn't be too surprising if Steinberg decides to change it at some point in the future, YMMV

The sound of soccer
$99.5 for commercial unlimited use, $4.99 for non-commercial
Quite "niche" but possibly a reasonable deal for 30 royalty-free national anthems
-
This weekend - Downbeat: Smokey Light
$4.99 for the commercially licensed option (or $2.99 for the non-commercial)
https://www.producerplanet.com/us/article/smokey-light-1901/?license=commercial_unlimited

This week it's also a relatively small soundpool (38 loops with variations and 6 in universal pitch, total 279), 433MB for the uncompressed wav version

Please keep posting the deals from "bad developers" and please keep commenting when something is not good (esp. describing the reason why they're not good - poor support, it's 32-bit only, updates pending for a decade, etc)
Having a market for liquidation/partially defective products is not bad per se (e.g., "as is" products on eBay or "minor defect" items at TJMaxx), what is bad is if there is no warning.

How to handle several systems ? all linked to same account , will prevent me to use both at the same time or some
No, it will not prevent you from using both systems at the same time.
Microsoft accounts are a way of associating certain things with an email address instead of associating them with a machine. The relation of Windows accounts and machines is not one-to-one. You can have one PC with multiple windows account (e.g., a family pc with an account for every member of the family) and you can have multiple PCs with the same account on them (following with the previous example, I would have my account on my main machine and on the machine(s) shared by the family).
You can still create local accounts but it is generally more useful logging in using an email (your Microsoft account) instead. Some advantages are: single-sign-on capabilities (if I change my password, I do it once and don't need to also go into each shared PC to update them, or remember different passwords for different PCs), sync selected settings across systems (e.g., if I like using double-clicks to open programs and my wife likes single-clicks, there is no need to configure each machine individually, the setting can be sync'ed and get applied depending on which account was used to log in), share cloud services across machines (e.g., when I log in to onedrive cloud storage using my account it shows my files, when other family members log in, it shows theirs), and share information across machines about licenses for apps purchased from the Windows Store (note that this applies only to "modern apps", not "desktop apps", and I think that it is up to the app producer to allow usage everywhere or to set usage limits, I don't really know because I generally use "desktop apps" and very rarely "modern apps")
If you are already using some online service from Microsoft (e.g., onedrive, skype, bing rewards, xbox, or outlook.com) you may already have a Microsoft account without realizing it

There are less than 40 sound effects in each one
I just got vol 9 which said 302 files in the website and I did get 302 sound effects (other files like the demo and cover picture weren't counted in the 302). For vols 1 and 6 the website says 178 and 100 files respectively, you may want to double check if there was some problem when downloading or unzipping the files

Can we ask you for a few selected links? ?

The new algorithm was implemented in response to a "snake oil" call, the full story is narrated here
It sounds to me like they may have added oversampling to get this "high definition mode"
