Ok it seems that Sonar is definitively out, but don't you think it's strange (besides the graphics which don't seem definitive, it's my opinion) that there isn't even a Staff post in the Forum, at least in the News & Announcements,perhaps Noel Borthwick, one of the most important members in the history of Sonar for this new and important step for the company? Its just my curiosity.....

exactly, nothing to say about the software I've been using since it was called Pro Audio 9 and in my production template I have 6 buses plus the master with dozens of effects without the slightest problem (I just have an export problem that I'm solving), but really for the things you write about the power of the CPU I don't understand what the problem is with improving the graphics a little, it's just my opinion.

No, I'm recording the output of the vsti in real time because even using bounce to track ?gives me the same problem as exporting the project. I'm still working on it, with vsti I export by recording and fortunately even if Sonar crashes it exports the project file correctly.

This is what I meant, either you decide on a path and follow it for all the components or you have the effect that the prochannel modules seem unfinished. However, I'm happy that we're talking about it because I believe that graphics also have their importance.

Craig What a pleasure to see you again, at the time of Roland I was a beta tester and we have already discussed, I agree with you that fashions change, but when you have worked with graphics like Sonar Platinum's Tungsten you don't really like changes. ...at least to me.

Sorry but I don't want to be thought of as stupid, not advertising because I repeat again that CBB is my favorite DAW, this is a nice graphic for me, a matter of taste

Yes, I can bore you, but I'm not a Cakewalk employee and I'm criticizing some choices and I think we can still criticize in this world. Technology today offers CPUs capable of withstanding the full load of photographic graphics and hundreds of tracks and effects to manage, perhaps what you said 20 years ago might have been right but today there is no reason to adopt such simple graphics. When you say sharp it doesn't mean it's better, I use a 35 monitor with high resolution and CBB doesn't give me any problems and I repeat that the previous graphics are much more satisfying. That said, everyone makes their own decisions.

It's funny that if you look at the Sonar website there are images of CBB which obviously looks better, isn't it strange?

Hi everyone, I have added other posts on the new Sonar graphics which I recently tried for the first time due to work and closing projects. I repeat again that I am not talking about the software, for me since I used Twelve Tone, Pro Audio, Sonar and CBB it is the best Pro Daw on the market, I have made more than 50 releases and my clients have always preferred the Sonar masters instead of the "Industry Standard", but when I saw the new graphics I was shocked.... even another DAW widely used by pros has the same type of graphics, but it is not so excessive, in Sonar it seems like it was made by a child... .for me compared to CBB it's a big step backwards, also noting that large companies like Harrison and UAD are taking an exactly opposite path, making almost photographic graphics... It's just my opinion

Hi, I have the same feeling, today I saw the new graphics for the first time and I don't like it, it looks like Live, for me Sonar is the best DAW on the market but... the new graphics are childish Greetings

Sonar available? or not? Hi everyone, I saw that on the site there is no longer the message coming soon and only with my access to Bandlab I downloaded Sonar for free... how is this possible? Isn't it just paid now? Another consideration on the graphics, I installed it on the laptop which is not my DAW in the studio and I could see that the graphics are very simple, almost childish compared to CBB especially on the mixer and the Pro Channel modules. I was a little surprised also given that the market is moving towards very real graphics in the latest DAWs. It's just a consideration about the graphics. What do you think? Greetings

With all due respect to the TTS I have slightly more complicated projects?, I usually use Syntronik or AAS Ultra Analog VA3 all vsti, but I repeat that even by disabling everything, the problem persists. Luckily CBB stops after it finishes exporting so I was able to finish my work. For bounce I record the vsti in real time in an audio track. I continue to investigate

In the last test i have deleted all vsti and vst effects, CBB freeze after the bounce

Hi everyone, after the latest update I can't solve a problem with bounce to track and export. Every time I use bounce to track with a CBB virtual instrument it stops, sometimes it returns directly to the windows screen and when I export a Sonar project it freezes on the screen and I am forced to restart. In both cases the bounce is not done, instead the export is regularly completed in the assigned folder. I tried restoring AUD.INI to default settings and excluding or deleting the effects from the project but the problems didn't go away. Nothing has been changed in the last update, I haven't had a single problem in the last 10 years (Cake pro 9 and i was beta tester for boston), Sonar is perfect, I can't understand what could have happened. What do you think?

Hi everyone, I've discovered a problem with the latest update regarding export. Every time I export an mp3 file from a project with tracks and buses the file is exported correctly but CBB closes automatically. Furthermore, when the file I export replaces a file with the same name, CBB crashes. As for everything else it is perfect. Has this happened to others too? Greetings
