Steinberg has there summer instrument sale going on now. Though it doesn't get as much "pub" of Komplete or Total Studio, Absolute really has some gems in there. On sale now for $249. I'm a big fan of Halion. Steinberg releases quite a few instruments and expansions for Halion, but they really don't seem to push them that much. I've always felt they really need to do something like Komplete - combining Halion with all available instrument sets would make a really strong product. https://www.steinberg.net/promotion/instruments/ Also on sale is is there Iconica Series (also really good, but not as popular as the other orchestral sets out there).

Man, I have almost purchased something from Roland Cloud about 100 times. I keep vascillating between the TR-808 and the D-50. I keep holding strong, but man, at $41.16, I'm going to have to bite I think.

So why happened to the Mixbox thread that @jesse g posted yesterday? The one about some of its features. There was nothing about that that broke the rules, but it disappeared.

Holy crap, that is cool. But I have to ask....why? To route external hardware through Mixbox without using a DAW? I've often thought of getting into 500 series as well, but I have enough good rack mounted effects hardware - an Eventide, a TC Electronics, a Lexicon, and a Behringer unit. This is really cool though, I'll definitely have to play around with it.

Thanks @better5150 for the code. I went ahead and bit at $80. I went back to the old thread, and it looks like the problem was the that signature collections for Tonex were not included. I just finished downloading, and they show up for me, so it looks like they fixed the issue.

One of my bucket list items - to go to the real Proms.

Man, that only took like 6 hours to download. Now to update the Cubase template!
