No it's not like that. You pay for the membership and you have access to it thats all there is to it. You do still have to buy a license for TH3 / THE if you want to use the full versions. I upgraded to it yesterday and I'm really enjoying it. -
I'm on Windows 10 with the latest updates and it still works for me.

Just got the new software setup and loving it! The tungsten theme is perfect, not the legacy one.

Don't see it in my softsynth or effects lists. Never mind I found it on the splash screen under product updates.

My mp3 exports work properly on the latest version.
