  1. This is often/sometimes referred to as ASIO Load, so it's a nomenclature issue. CbB does have a reputation for poor performance (in terms of number of plugins that can be run at a given latency) and whilst some of this is down to not measuring like with like, it needs its game to be upped in order to be seen to be competitive (some kind of hybrid audio engine, which separates non-input monitored tracks to be handled with greater latency and hence better performance than monitored tracks, and which is present in some way in all(?) non-live focused commercial DAW is de rigeur now really - probably my number one missing feature to make it competitive*). * Yes, more than a built-in sampler which can be worked around to some extent - core engine gaps can't be.
  2. So anyway, I just got back from a gig watching the Welsh Beatles. They closed their set with Strawberry Fields For Ivor.
  3. Pfft. Where's the Comnodore 64 version, eh?
  4. Marillion - Bitter Suite / Brief Encounter / Lost Weekend / Blue Angel
  5. Does it give any errors when you run regsvr32 ?
  6. If you try dragging a MIDI FX onto a synth rack track, it gets blocked ("no entry" cursor).
  7. That's correct - Windows sound settings doesn't let you select ASIO; Cakewalk (or a.n.other DAW) does.
  8. Jethro Tull - Fire at Midnight With some apologies for a Christmas song on the summer solstice. But not many, as it is Jethro Tull after all.
  9. Galactic Cowboys - I'm Not Amused
  10. The Darkness - I Believe In A Thing Called Love
  11. Pink Floyd - A Saucerful of Secrets
  12. The Crazy World of Arthur Brown - Fire Someone had to. Amusing story about Arthur Brown: we camped next to his tent at a festival about 20 years ago and he was up at the crack of dawn doing topless yoga. Lovely guy he was to chat to too.
  13. That sounds like you're using Bandlab, the web application, not Cakewalk by Bandlab.
