  1. Just too young to (be allowed to!) do those 1987 gigs. Mind you, it was Leeds...LSD and 2 Es after all. I loved that era (1987-1993ish) - and you listed 2 of my son's favourite songs too (I am deeply pleased he has good taste in music at the tender age of 8).
  2. I feel that is stretching things a tad more than even I do!
  3. Iron Maiden - The Evil That Men Do

    That's just cruel.
  5. I'll take prog as a genre ?
  6. Hawkwind (no surprise, eh?) Electric Tepee tour, 1992, Brighton. I think it was the second night of the tour, and a friend and I had gone - we were somewhat disappointed when they came out as a three piece, expecting a lacklustre performance. Then the opened with Right to Decide off the album, which we'd never heard, and within seconds we were blown away - the sound was amazing, they were incredibly tight and seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely, and the song was catchy as all hell. The rest of the gig was great, but the first minute or so was mind-blowing.
  7. A fair point, except I loathe that song.
  8. Joe Jackson - Is She Really Going Out With Him?
  9. Jackson 5 - 2-4-6-8 Too many points to mention.
  10. This is another spacey instrumental inspired by a www.space.com headline; I'd just bought Cherry Audio's Lowdown (Taurus emulation) and threw it through an arpeggiator to give me something to noodle along to, so some inspiration from new gear too. I feel it's a bit of an Ozric Tentacle/Jean Michel Jarre crossover, which sounds weird...and probably is. https://www.bandlab.com/track/d6cbb8fd-5743-ef11-86c3-000d3a42581b?revId=d5cbb8fd-5743-ef11-86c3-000d3a42581b
  11. And so... Hawkwind - Reefer Madness
  12. And I've used LSD before (in this thread obviously!).
  13. Dave Brock - Earthed to the Ground
  14. Belinda Carlisle - Heaven Is A Place On Earth
  15. Free upgrade if you already have it licensed too.
