With all due respect, this was not explained when contacting support. I was simply told to provide my PA purchase receipt and purchase GP4 from Deskew at full price, then and only then would it be calculated what was owed and then I would be refunded. Pretty poor CS to expect people to buy a product without knowing the final cost and then telling them to go ahead and buy at full price and "we'll refund you something." Why not just tell them your discount is $99 dollars and here's your code to adjust at purchase?

Answer is: Nope, only one or the other - $20 or $70.

Yep, agree. Got $20 code but still awaiting the upgrade code. At least you'll know cost before deciding. Unlike Deskew in upgrading GP4!

Always regretted not picking up Cubase when Gibson folded. While Studio One is nice, we just haven’t bonded. Thomann has the competitive crossgrade for $315 but wonder if they might run another sale. Anyway, I’m doing the current 60 day demo to run it through the paces. Thanks Lars.

I’ve never paid more than $149 for X4->X8 suite upgrades. Hate Magix convoluted pricing scheme. Just have to be patient. Safe Harbor was great and even credited me $10 when I saw I could have saved it. That was for X7 and got X8 for free because of timing. Last Vegas Pro i upgrade (V20) I just purchased Edit because I didn’t need the suite fluff. Same program without extras. Not sure it works the same with Samplitude but I wanted the SpectraLayers upgrade anyway.
