    Free HARD plugin

I'd love some software developers could invent a hard disk plugin. Preferably free
  2. I'll try to find my old hammond project and see if I did anything to it since, like bouncing clips with the controllers or anything to mitigate the sluggishness, if not then I'll try and experiment with it too. I like to keep different CC# takes in separate clips to make it more easy for editing later, as I'm missing a few tools when I want to quickly select and move or edit whole takes or parts of a take with many different controllers in it and I want to edit or shift just one or few of them against the rest (visually). So I often keep a couple different controllers in the same track on separate take lanes for simplified access. Maybe that's additional cause for the issue.
  3. if by saying "draw an envelope pattern" you mean something about the the automation/envelopes then IDK, but if you mean drawing/editing MIDI Control Change events then yes, I was having this same issue for years going back to Sonar Platinum times. I even reported it back then and even had a response (after 6 months) that there were some adjustments done to the Sonar's engine but it didn't solve this issue. I was doing a Hammond organ VSTi track, it has 2 manuals with 9 drawbars plus couple other controls each, a pedals with up to 5 drawbars and then several general controls for other things along with controlling the virtual leslie speaker, going easily into more than 50 different CC controllers altogether for just one instrument. For me the issue, same looking as those for @Blogospherianman and @haydn12 above, starts when my project crosses some critical mass of these MIDI controller data amount in it, then the sluggishment starts being noticeable. To me it looks like a GUI issue but maybe it's a Cakewalk's MIDI engine issue indeed otherwise why it would start only after the amount of MIDI data crosses some quota in a project, and it's always fine with smaller/normal projects?
  4. Anyone up for exchange his $75 voucher with my $25 voucher?
  5. I don't see a way to register so I think I'm out.
  6. or use your Midiflex4 for connecting 2 keyboards and the third one just connect with it's USB MIDI connection, I see that at least Tyros and Motif have such port, but yeah having an 8 port midi interface would be the safest solution as you'd avoid potential scrambling of MIDI inputs in your Cakewalk projects that many are experiencing, including myself
  7. There is, right under the counter where "Jump to:" is, it's the whole first section on the products page, called Pick any 3 plugins for $49 blah blah. All plugins in this section are eligible. Sections are separated with a horizontal line.
  8. It has 4 ports but only max two can be as In, the rest are only Outs, so you won't be able to connect all your 3 keyboards in full-duplex, for playback it's fine though I would be concerned if what you downloaded was actually a driver and did not come with any malicious software bundled with it as there are no official drivers from the vendor, as pointed by Glenn, it should work out of the box and shouldn't need installing anything prior
  9. @bitflipper Kiive seems to be the external developer, not BX. edit: actually the 902 deesser doesn't belong to this sale too.
  10. But then do you have a synth with name starting on "A"? (is that why I bought Aparillo...??)
  11. Didn't you forget to add something? (starting with "i...")?
  12. (...) If they are smart, they won't deep discount it to even $50 by itself for a while. No problem I can wait...
  13. The CS version was free update and had been automatically registered in my account. It brought, IIRC, one new kit that was free either. Again, it's not clear for me how should I update and not loose the existing kits so I'm still not updating.
  14. I didn't think that sharing codes by forum users, even if it's bringing some benefit for them too, has anything to do with "keeping commercial vendors from posting sales", therefore I personally was disappointed with that thread closure. This is the deals forum, it should bring benefit for everyone, be it the customer or software developer. Ok, if the rules are excluding commercial activity then I suppose we can't do anything about it, but it would be nice to find a way for posting some small stuff like for example sales on presets, otherwise how can we learn about them?
  15. @abacab you're right, but with Modo Drums update to v 1.5 it was a bit unusual thing where the whole samples database got updated as well, first the whole sampleset was packed into 3 files (mododrumdata_000 to 002.pak), then after the update it's got changed into something like 10 smaller packs, plus the update supposedly brought a new kit in (where? I don't have it in any download tab unless it's in the installer). But my registered version 1 samples are already locked, did anyone notice that it will get unlocked after authorizing the 1.5 update? I didn't install the update yet.
  16. Right, except it didn't for me in case of Modo Drums 1.5 CS update from version 1. But maybe I'm missing something and it's not bringing any new samples? Idk
  17. Good point, thanks. And what about Modo Drums 1.5 CS update from 1? It's supposed to come with new samples but there's nothing for download and my kits under Modo Drums 1 are already blo¢ked. It's not clear for me.
  18. Forcing a payment for downloading updates of products already purchased is a kind of disregard to the customer.
  19. Nope, doesn't work for me. If you could buy it with this voucher then lucky you!
