Advice needed for using a 4 port MIDI interface with CbB
chris.r replied to Philip Jones's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
or use your Midiflex4 for connecting 2 keyboards and the third one just connect with it's USB MIDI connection, I see that at least Tyros and Motif have such port, but yeah having an 8 port midi interface would be the safest solution as you'd avoid potential scrambling of MIDI inputs in your Cakewalk projects that many are experiencing, including myself -
There is, right under the counter where "Jump to:" is, it's the whole first section on the products page, called Pick any 3 plugins for $49 blah blah. All plugins in this section are eligible. Sections are separated with a horizontal line.

Advice needed for using a 4 port MIDI interface with CbB
chris.r replied to Philip Jones's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
It has 4 ports but only max two can be as In, the rest are only Outs, so you won't be able to connect all your 3 keyboards in full-duplex, for playback it's fine though I would be concerned if what you downloaded was actually a driver and did not come with any malicious software bundled with it as there are no official drivers from the vendor, as pointed by Glenn, it should work out of the box and shouldn't need installing anything prior -
@bitflipper Kiive seems to be the external developer, not BX. edit: actually the 902 deesser doesn't belong to this sale too.

Focusrite Midnight And Scarlett Plugin Suites Are Now FREE (Legacy)

We are looking at you, Waves ? -
But then do you have a synth with name starting on "A"? (is that why I bought Aparillo...??)
-
Didn't you forget to add something? (starting with "i...")?

(...) If they are smart, they won't deep discount it to even $50 by itself for a while. No problem I can wait...

Weekend Deals | Two awesome offers, this weekend only!

You forgot your coat -
I didn't think that sharing codes by forum users, even if it's bringing some benefit for them too, has anything to do with "keeping commercial vendors from posting sales", therefore I personally was disappointed with that thread closure. This is the deals forum, it should bring benefit for everyone, be it the customer or software developer. Ok, if the rules are excluding commercial activity then I suppose we can't do anything about it, but it would be nice to find a way for posting some small stuff like for example sales on presets, otherwise how can we learn about them?

@abacab you're right, but with Modo Drums update to v 1.5 it was a bit unusual thing where the whole samples database got updated as well, first the whole sampleset was packed into 3 files (mododrumdata_000 to 002.pak), then after the update it's got changed into something like 10 smaller packs, plus the update supposedly brought a new kit in (where? I don't have it in any download tab unless it's in the installer). But my registered version 1 samples are already locked, did anyone notice that it will get unlocked after authorizing the 1.5 update? I didn't install the update yet.

Nope, doesn't work for me. If you could buy it with this voucher then lucky you!

Anyone could confirm please what's the current version exactly, including any incremental updates? Thx

Event List change multiple notes to same pitch?
chris.r replied to sadicus's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
your screen is showing a selection of F-1 (two octaves below F1) to F1 range, then change to D1 if you need just a simple transpose of selected notes quickest would be menu Process>Transpose, or just hold SHIFT and grab the selected notes to their new location in PRV -
it would be great to have such modify key
-
Just had a bizzare one where I made some simple edits in PRV, moving and copying notes around. After one Edit>Undo a step, Cakewalk suddenly started playing a different note instead of a note off, even though there was nothing else I could see in take lanes and event list. Saving and reloading project and bug was gone. There's no way to catch these bizzaries, it's just too evenescent.

I used to own a business. I created a pricing calculation that was extremely fair for every situation and was sooo proud of it, it was brilliant. But it was as much brilliant as convoluted to the customers and so they've always had issues with it. Once I made a flat low price for all, everyone was happy. Was it fair for every castomer, no! But what a peace of mind. Lesson learned
