Agreed the T-Racks stuff is excellent for mixing. Threw an EQ73 on a bass drum track... instant joy! If only it didn't tax the CPU so much ?.

Good idea. The way I see it is that Transform tool is more flexible, you can change the events by dragging any of it's many points, but it's often difficult to go back without ctrl+Z, if happen to make some false move, especially in soft mode. Your Velocity Compander gives the chance to adjust values to your liking in a sooo easy way otoh. To make it work with CC is a really good idea!

Back many years ago, I think maybe even before the fist GPO, when the Garritan Orchestral Strings was an independent library, there was a scripting tool added to it called Maestro Tools that could produce very convincing articulations like alternate bowings, legatos, portamento and many more. Today, when you buy GPO5 with Orchestral Strings added, is there anything inside, alternative to Maestro Tools, that will take care for the articulation?

Your graphical visualisation instantly took me back a couple months ago when I was trying to edit huge amount of expression controller data and had to fiddle heavily with prv's transform tool to achieve the desired results. Normally should be easily doable with either transform tool or the Find/Change command, if I knew the destination values, but I didn't and had to judge by ear each time I touched the transform tool, thus a lot of fiddling to achieve the effect. Maybe if I had those sliders I could cut the job load by half... ?

Is this the same effect that others call "motorboad effect" or something around that? If yes, than I can only report that I'm having it using an ART usb interface connected to computer over the excellent Ploytec driver (usb-audio.com). Yes, I would expect a cut-down version in MODO of what Amplitube has to offer, would need to investigate further. But I don't feel a need for anything sophisticated since I don't have MODO yet. First things first. What music styles Ampeg's sound suits best?

I'm going with Orange this time. I don't play guitar so I may not need it really but liked the demos sound, might be useful one day if a guitar player comes around. Won't pick the Ampegs simply because I plan to buy Modo bass one day (will have to wait for a good sale) and it's already equipped with some Ampegs iirc. As a keyboard player I'm definitely going to try out the sound of Fulltone on my pianos and organs .

@TerraSin If you buy TR5 then the other plugins from Deluxe will get upgraded automatically, and TR5 itself is worth getting. No upgrade path from v3 or 4 to v5 though unfortunately so yes, this one is a bummer indeed. But the Amplitube Metal stuff should get you qualified in the GB, unless I'm missing something. You better get the ticket and/or contact Peter/Ryan.
