I've just start checking it out. My big question is integrating it with either Music or Video with a logical workflow. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm not seeing things like: * SMPTE support or support for video editors like Premiere. * Support for DAWS - no support for VST or other plugins or rewire support. Yes you can import & export audio but lets say you wanted add effects over the bridge of a song that was a work in progress - you'd have to export a rough mix, then import it into Sound Particles. Then create your fx mix and export it, then fly it into your audio project. and if you have to make any changes (producer thinks the effect needs to altered in some way, or he changes the music) you may have to repeat the whole process. I love the concept I just want to see a workflow that's not going to make me cringe. Like I said I'm a nube with this app, but I'm not seeing my questions answered in the manual.

This is Heavyocity after all - pretty sure what you're referring to as orchestration are the effected versions of the instrument similar to what they like to do with a lot of their stuff. Not really a fan of the backward, reverbed, distorted, looped soupy stuff myself but it can come in handy if you feel the need to drown crappy vocal tracks.

Currently at 35% off, probably hit 40% by tomorrow morning if not sooner. -
and it's a free update! Yes XLN Audio updates have been pretty much always been free but how many devs have come out with their VST3 versions, tossed in a handful of bug fixes for their VST2 line, then changed the version # and made it a paid for upgrade?
-
Actually they are, they constantly have updates. They're just not big on creating new versions or new product. No
-
6 updates to ? and VST3 versions!
-
Still my favorite distortion plugin...

The "Missing Plug-ins" warning lacks critical details. Please take a look at the list below and tell which missing plug-ins are 32bit VST2, 64bit VST2, VST3, or DX versions? Indeed the Blue Cat Triple EQ mentioned in the image could be any of the above. I'm in the process of setting up a new computer and this warning keeps biting me with every old project I try to open up. It would be of immense help if the plugin type was identified. Even more so (but maybe not possible) if the plugin's location or any other info (version, file date, etc.) could be identified. Maybe with Simple/Verbose toggle button - simple showing current info/verbose showing a more detailed view.

Where in the hell can you download the latest version of the license manager? All I can find is v2

And Tape Mello-Fi So for $29 - I would get Dist TUBE-CULTURE and Dist OPAMP-21 Comes down to $14.50 each, so I'll probably bite.

If I recall correctly the car was originally called the Tri Nova. According to the story it was a cursed name because Tri Nova translated from Spanish to 3 No Go, a bad luck name. But according to some sources on the web that's not true because that's a bad Spanish translation (wrong verb for that expression). Or how about when SaveOn drugs got bought out and changed their name to Osco Drugs (phonetic for terrible or gross drugs). At least in Southern California it was quickly changed back as hispanic customers (a large % of their business) refused to shop in their renamed stores. per Wikipedia: The name "Osco" did not resonate well with Sav-on's Southern California customer base. American Stores eventually made the decision to change the name of the former Sav-on stores back to Sav-on Drugs. Rumors circulated at the time claiming that the reason for the name change back to ‘Sav-on’ was due to "Osco" having the same pronunciation as the Spanish word "asco" (oss-ko), which means "nausea" or "disgust", a considerable factor within Southern California's heavily Hispanic market. This explanation for the name change was refuted by American Stores.

Nice... Couple of minor nits - could have had USB-C or thunderbolt ports. But still - wish my budget could accommodate picking one up.

XLN does constantly tweak their stuff, they're just not vocal about it. For example: M1 and Monterey support (November 16th, 2021) All XLN Audio products have native support for M1 Macs and macOS Monterey with the latest versions.
-
Interesting... Be a bit more interesting if they gave a slightly bigger discount to MetaPlugin owners.

Ah... the joy of owning the PA version - cost less/less updates. Maybe PA will surprise me and offer it before v5 comes out. Maybe Santa will bring me a pony. Not sure which is more likely... -
Reminder with SDOTH $69 is the price in cart (all day today).
