  1. So did any of you fine characters bite on the aforementioned plugin? Does it merit adding to the collection or it just covering the same turf on that well worn path?
  2. I saw this and thought it sounded really interesting... Does it ever go on sale and if so at what range?
  3. SKYLIFE releases SampleRobot 6.1 update https://samplerobot.com/blogs/news/skylife-releases-samplerobot-6-1-update by Christian Halten March 08, 2019 We are glad to let you know about our latest SampleRobot update release which is version 6.1. SampleRobot Pro and SampleRobot Montage now with VST host SampleRobot Pro and SampleRobot Montage users will benefit from a marvellous new feature which is the VST host. For the first time in the history of SampleRobot you can directly load your virtual instruments inside SampleRobot and connect them digitally for automatic sampling. As you can see in the screenshot there are "VST Host" entries in the lists for the Midi and Audio devices. When selecting these, SampleRobot will connect to your plugin automatically. There is also a new audio monitoring function included so you can hear what SampleRobot is sampling right now. This feature is work in progress and we decided to offer the current status as a beta feature to our community. At the moment only VST2 instruments can be loaded but we will expand the host functionality also to VST3 and AU standard in an upcoming update. Please note that this feature is only available with SampleRobot Pro and Montage. A gentle note from the developers: Please respect the copyright whatever you sample. It takes a long time to design plugins and preset sounds and it is a highly creative process. Make sure you own the plugins you sample. Don't rip off someone's intellectual property. Be creative and design your own sounds for sampling! Optimized navigation and color coded UI Version 6.1 update includes optimizations that are also available for SampleRobot Multi-X and SampleRobot Korg+Wave. The new context-sensitive color coding makes it a lot easier to navigate through projects, multisamples and samples. Whenever you see the yellow bars in the SampleRobot GUI you are on the Projects' level (screenshot 1). Orange stands for the Multisamples area and all dedicated settings (screenshot 2) while green bars show you the recorded samples and their information (screenshot 3). Now you can easily navigate with these shortcuts: Shift + Arrow Keys Up / Down = Browse Projects Alt + Arrow Keys Up / Down = Browse Multisamples Ctrl / Cmd + Arrow Keys Up / Down = Browse Samples Big screens and 16:9 Since screens are still getting bigger and bigger we shaped SampleRobot for version 6.1 so that you can use the application very comfortably even on the largest 4K screens with various resolutions and aspect ratios like 16:9 and 21:9. When using multiple screens you can drag elements from the graphical user interface like the peak meter simply to another screen to optimize the overview in your sampling session. Best of all, SampleRobot 6.1 is free for all users of version 6. Get it now and have fun!

  5. ROTFL, really? Dang, there are so many things I could come back at you with but... as the forum policy goes "No politics. No religion. All love." so let's agree to disagree and drop this.
  6. "But the heart of man is wicked and utterly deceitful." mmm no. Sorry for you if you feel so. Some are, but there are many decent, kind, virtuous and moral people out there and they come in all stripes - atheists, Buddhist, Christian, gay, Jewish, Muslim, transgender and other flavors (listed in alphabetical order if anyone's getting upset about that). Not sure what about the the guys waxing philosophically got your dander up but in response to your rant - I think the future is what we, as humans make it. As the old saying goes 'God helps those who help themselves' - if we want a bright future for our kids it's up to us to make the effort to make it happen. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ End of my rant and to why I came here... Just received an email from Blue Cat Audio. If you already have Axiom and want Re-Guitar as a separate plugin they've got a deal for you.
  7. https://www.bluecataudio.com/Products/Product_ReGuitar/ Price: (-30%) 99 EUR 69 EUR or (-30%) $99 $69 (tax incl.) Welcome to the world of "Re-Guitaring": enjoy an infinite number of guitar tones out of a single instrument! With Re-Guitar, you can emulate many kinds of guitar tones (electric or acoustic), regardless of the solid body guitar model used for recording: keep playing your own guitar and get all the sounds that you like, and more! The built-in pickup simulator lets you emulate many types of electric guitar pickups without the need to modify your favorite instrument: choose from a selection of popular guitar pickups or create your own. You can also dig and expand the body "in the box" to craft your own hollow body guitar tone thanks to the body simulator. The plug-in includes a selection of acoustic guitar simulations, and you can craft your own too. In addition to the brightness and gain adjustements, the virtual tone and volume pots let you tweak the tone in details. They can even be automated to follow the performance. If you do not play guitar but are producing music with recorded guitars, you will enjoy "re-guitaring" too: you can now "fix it in the mix" and virtually switch guitars after recording! This plug-in is also available as a built-in effect inside Blue Cat's Axiom, the multi effects processor for guitar and bass.

  9. PSP HertzRider http://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/multimode_effects/psp_hertzrider/ We are proud to introduce our new effect plug-in: PSP HertzRider - a frequency shifter. It can be an incredible tool for tuning inharmonic sounds like snares, and for harmonic sounds it becomes a creative and crazy destructive tool. In addition to a wide range of shifting settings the algorithm contains an LFO (low frequency oscillator) to provide interesting modulation options allowing you to further creatively experiment with this tool. PSP HertzRider is designed to be as simple as possible, to take as few resources as possible, and to incur only a very slight (and frequency dependent) latency. To see the PSP HertzRider in action you can watch the short movie on our YouTube channel or try the PSP HertzRider on your own material using fully featured 30 day demo version available on our download page. Introductory offer! Until March 26th 2019 you can buy PSP HertzRider at the special introductory price of $39. Starting from the 27th March 2019 the regular price of $49 will be applied. As a registered user of other our effects plug-ins you can get it at an even better price (up to 50% additional discount). 12. Not that I know of. If would be cool if there was 'sticky' curve setting / option but to be useful you would also need an option to set complementary curves (fast in / slow out or vice versa) when creating a mid point node.
  13. Unless I'm misreading your post the function is already implemented - use Click & Drag as shown below... Cakewalk Automation test2.mp4 Cakewalk Automation test.mp4
  14. Audacity has released Audacity version 2.3.1. Audacity, is a free, open source, cross-platform audio software for multi-track recording and editing. https://www.audacityteam.org/download Audacity 2.3.1 replaces all previous versions for Windows, macOS and Linux. Support for Linux which was missing in 2.3.0 has been restored. Also Audacity for macOS is now a more modern 64-bit build. Over 20 bugs fixed, and a few small improvements/changes to features (since 2.3.0). That message from Apple saying: "32-bit support will be going the way of the dodo", no longer shows when you install Audacity on Mac. The new 64-bit Audacity works with 64-bit libraries. To use FFmpeg or MP3 libraries with 64-bit Audacity, you will need to download the updated 64-bit versions. On Windows, you may find that recording is disabled until you change Windows permissions for the microphone! That's a security feature introduced by Windows. This affects all versions of Audacity, and affects many other audio programs. New: Options and preferences: Microfades are now an opt-in feature. They were always on in 2.3.0. The advanced vertical zooming option is now available in the View->Zoom menu. Regular interval labels now support range labels. See: 2.3.1 New Features for longer descriptions and links on how to use the new features. Bug Fixes: Over 20 bugs that were in 2.3.0 fixed, including: A crashing bug on Linux that made Audacity 2.3.0. unsuitable for Linux. Crash on Mac when right clicking on label. Problems with Change Pitch, including not remembering parameter values. See also: 2.3.1 Release Notes.

  21. What's New – Voxengo Crunchessor Version 2.11, Mar 2, 2019: https://www.voxengo.com/cp/updates/ Fixed absence of "Mute" switches in the Routing window. Fixed "Dry Mix" control bug introduced in previous version.
  22. Bundle discounts are based as follows; Melda DOES track exactly how much you paid for a plugin purchased from them or if you got it from a reseller. I had an upgrade question last winter, I thought the quote was low, and they ran me through each plugin and what it's tradein value was. So if you've built your collection from sale items then you're probably looking at a 70% credit based off of 50% of the retail for each plugin to be applied to the bundle upgrade.
