I figured out a work around - ran it on Windows 7 where it was able to download and install the Presets thin I manually copied over the presets to my Win 10 machine. AD never figured out what issue was and never got back to me after I told them that their suggestions failed.

The drive does have a USB3 interface, here are the throughput specs reported by CrystalDiskMark on my system: I've got mine plugged into a USB3 port. While the transfer speeds don't hold up when compared to my internally mounted SSD drives I am not unhappy with the performance of this drive but I do try to avoid streaming off it.
