  3. You can wait & register it after if you wish or way after. License is based on when activated not purchased.
  4. Anyone have this puppy? Does it do anything different or better than the competition (is Waves, iZotope, Etc)
  5. Ditto. Some vendors place their VST3 in subfolders in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 I also use subfolders under ...\VST3 to organize my VST3s and reduce clutter. Not at home so I can't test if this a now problem.
  6. iZotope has numerous helper dlls in the same folder that are not actual plugins - the scanner rejects them and moves on.
  7. Is it safe to assume that VST3 plugins NOT in Program Files\Common Files\VST3 will not be scanned? I've seen a couple of plugins install their VST3s in their VST2 folder. It won't bother me either way because I move 'em if I catch that their not installing in the correct locations, but curious.
  8. Agreed but here it is. If you're curious there was an earlier post & discussion on MIDI 2.0 in the Coffee House forum section back when the proposed spec was announced. Many of the same topics/issues debated there along with additional information.
  9. Lol took me a while to find this original thread. Below is part of an email that went out to MIDI Association members on Mon Jan 27th. ********************************** MIDI 2.0 Adopted at Winter NAMM 2020! 10. While not meant for studio it might be helpful if you're recording via the pickup because of it's antifeedback technology (if that's an issue). I.E. 11. If you use an acoustic guitar with some kind of pickup this looks like a no-brainer!

  13. I picked up a Monoprice 'Retro Vision Solid Body Electric Guitar - Blonde' on sale for $105.99 (came to $121.45 with tax & shipping) in 2015. Back then it was a straight tele knockoff with the Monoprice 'M' on the headstock. It came with the intonation set, decent fret job, etc.. Back then Monoprice use to claim they had a guitar luthier on staff to oversee production & setup. I wanted to add a tele to my collection and had a low budget. It turned out to be a decent guitar. No regrets. No idea how the old line compares with the Indio line - except for the headstock and new logo on the gig bag (mine has no logo whatever) and that for the solid Ash version they want over $200 https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=610291 (think mine is Basswood but don't remember for sure).
  14. I would imagine (i.e hope) that Forzo would work well with SpitFire's Albion One. I picked Albion One up a couple of month's ago but haven't had a chance to really use it yet.
  15. Been thinking of Forzo for a while... Might be the time...
  16. I have them but haven't touched them since I picked up the Orange Tree libraries which are outstanding. https://www.orangetreesamples.com/ Indiginus has superb libraries as well https://indiginus.com/ https://indiginus.com/renegade_acoustic.html IMHO the Pettinhouse stuff isn't bad, but I was never really satisfied with it; but as they say YMMV.
  17. Nice freebie... Installation instructions and walk through on all the new presets
  18. I still use it now & then.
  19. I don't know... I thought it was 44.1k/24bit but don't think it is. I spent a half hour trying various combos but I am unable to recreate the issue with a new project - which I guess is a good thing. The bad project is still bad, so it wasn't my imagination. I created that project between the current Cakewalk update and the previous but that may not mean anything. I'm just going to write this off as a fluke and move on.
  20. I did but that had no effect in this situation. Changing the buffer and/or sample rate had no affect on the issue. But if I had created a new project it would have - see below. Thankfully this was just a test project with one audio track... I've been working with Jason from IKM on this and after trying a variety of things he suggested and no issues... I can even stack AmpliTube & the Tape decks with no problem. What’s odd is my test track should have been 44.1 - 24 bit when it was created but apparently was not, if I try to paste a track from my ‘problem’ project I get message that the sample rates don’t match. The previous Cakewalk update nuked my working default settings – thought I had reset everything; or maybe I missed something but caught it after I created my test track but by then the damage was already done and I was in the rabbit hole...
  21. Did some more testing... Verified that my CPU usage doesn't exceed 20% during these tests. Tried same thing (procesing same audio track with same plugin) in latest version of Image Line - works fine there. Switched interface to my old Quad Capture - same issue with Cakewalk Same problem with either VST or VST3 versions (removed VST3 versions from system to bee sure they weren't being swapped). Tried disabling / enabling 64 bit processing, 2x over sampling, plugin load balancing, etc. and no change. Maybe something running on my system is causing the issue with Cakewalk when using IK Multimedia plugins, if so I still haven't figured it out.
  22. Don't think it's AXE I/O, I've been having issues (not the same but still odd) with IKM plugs in Cakewalk (posted about it in thread linked below) that I don't have in either Studio One or Image Line. I tried switching back to my Quad Capture and still had same issue.
  23. would've have saved me a click or two if I'd known...
  24. Maybe they'll add it later(?) but Spring is not in the Anthology update ? released today
