  1. I'm just wondering why Arturia didn't add a tempo sync control (i.e. a knob that lets you sync oscillations per bar like 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 4), to me that seems like a glaring omission.
  2. They’ve never had hardware listed as a free option in a group buy - as that would cost shipping, which no matter how it’s handled complicates things; software only freebies cost virtually nothing to deploy.
  3. Never had this issue and I've been using it for ages. You might be configuring your back up as the wrong type.
  4. Hello Dawn! Welcome to the Cakewalk forum. My apologies if you found my post offensive (I can see why you might so I modified it slightly). Thank you for the clarification. It isn't clear from the Paravox X web page that you also have Paravox available (and that it is also on sale, 50% off at $59.99) https://www.beladmedia.com/paravox/ Does either version require the full version of Kontakt or is NI licensing included? I will happy to directly provide you some feedback.
  5. Where's the beef? How big is the sample set? What audio resolution? Where's the walk through on patches? It's hard for me to get a feel for what's actually being sold based on the product's vague demos and lack of information. Feels like a small sample set of unknown quality inflated with effects that I would rarely use. "each sustained vocal element has softly embedded sound designed textures such as icy whispers and ghostly breathe" Meh - don't do a lot of Halloween or horror themed projects; and if you can't control the volume or mix ratio of these effects then double meh. That such features are touted as major selling points instead of library depth or other features is concerning. I'd love be wowed by a nice female vocal library especially if it fills niches left out in other libraries such as Heavyocity, Output or Realivox. If so, hey - please take my money!!
  6. Using latest Cakewalk release. Went to save project that I was working on today. Attempted to save project as bundle and Cakewalk kept asking me to save at least 5 or more times. Exited Cakewalk - no sign of project except menu item on MRU, nothing saved. The do you want to save loop should have clued me in to check before closing project but was tired and not paranoid enough to double check. Haven't used bundle format in ages after having corruption issues in Sonar but thought issues must be fixed by now and that it would make it easier managing the projects I'm starting. Burned again. Last time I try using the bundle format.
  7. I need to import a mix into a new Cakewalk project then sync Cakewalk to it so that I can add MIDI tracks, etc. What's the best way to do this? Been a long time since I tried something like this and have no recall of what I did before.
  8. Thanks Fleer - looks like a nice freebie. Before anyone starts whining* - does require KONTAKT FULL VERSION 5.5.1 OR HIGHER *ok, now you can whine.. I actually sympathize with you if you can't afford Kontakt - it took me several years before I could afford the upgrade path to it, but it was worth it.
  9. Just a heads up in case you've been sitting on the fence. This deal ends tomorrow 4pm PST - 16 hours from now.
  10. If their goal is to have uniform price then they should do like some vendors - include the taxes in the price and then they deal with the taxman. The way they are handling it is wonky.
  11. I was waiting for BF but finally broke down and bought EZBass.
  12. I got my sixpack the easy way... no coupon or code needed either

  14. AudioDamage Enso updated to v1.0.15 (not a deal) Check you email for update link. From changelog file: V1.0.15 >> Much smooth. Very declicking. Wow. We have done a lot of work to minimize edge- and corner-case clicking, principally in the Sectors. You will find that, in general, the Sector features work much better, and there will be no (or minimal, in the case of legato source material) clicks when resizing and moving sectors while playback is occuring. >> Settings were not recalled correctly when restoring a session in some hosts. This has been fixed. >> MIDI notes added as sources in the CC Control section. You can now assign a MIDI note to a momentary button the same way you would a controller button. >> In all quantization modes, the playback and record speed controls now go _towards_ zero when clicking or dragging down, and _away_ from zero when clicking or dragging up. There were some differences of opinion with respect to the various speed quantizations, and this has been remedied. >> The main mode quantization now affects every momentary button except Trigger and Overdub. What this means: sector switching, RTZ, and sector clear will now respect the quantization. So if you have it set to quarter notes, your sector will switch on the beat. >> A whole heap of small bug fixes, improvements, and optimizations. We tend to write "optimizations" in the changelog to make it look like we did something clever, but in point of fact we, and every other software company on the planet, use "optimizations" to mean "now that we're not in a dead rush to get this thing out the door so we can make some money and not, you know, go out of business or whatever, we have the luxury of going back and cleaning up this rat's nest and making it look somewhat presentable." Stuff like that. >> Factory presets added back to the iOS version. They somehow got kicked out of bed in the multiple updates that platform needed. >> macOS preset location moved from Old N' Busted "Application Support/Audio Damage" to the New Hotness, "~/Music/Audio Damage". If you have presets stored in the old location, you will need to manually move them to the new one. >> Ubuntu Linux x64 VST and VST3 added to the desktop payload. Some info in case you're wondering what Enso is...
  15. The audio demos are gorgeous. Just wondering how much coverage I already have with other libraries.
  16. Which begs the question - can you use one of these multi IR loaders as a fancy multi-IR handling Convolution reverb? Don't see why not, will have to try at some point.
  17. I picked this up but not sure why when I got the aIR Impulse Rack - which is still selling for $10 It has phase switching, phase delay and multiple other features. Even at twice the price it's still a better deal (IMHO).
  18. Intro price $49 $69 http://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/multimode_effects/psp_hertzrider2/ PSP HertzRider2 (frequency shifter plug-in) is the successor to the PSP HertzRider. It benefits from algorithm optimization and adds numerous significant new features. It's been designed to be as simple as possible, to take as few resources as possible, and to incur only a very slight (and frequency dependent) latency. PSP HertzRider2 can be an incredible tool for tuning inharmonic sounds like snares, and for harmonic sounds it becomes a creative and crazy destructive tool. In addition to a wide range of shifting settings the algorithm contains an LFO (low frequency oscillator) to provide interesting modulation options allowing you to further creatively experiment with this tool. Main features: * high quality frequency shifting * LFO control * independent frequency shifting of left and right channel New features in version 2: * LFO synchro mode - synchronisation to musical note values referenced to an audio host’s tempo setting * Envelope Follower with side chain * SideChain Bar with smooth mix between internal and external source * More presets
  19. Not yet $29... I have Stutter 1, if I'm getting another shelf sitter then it's going to have to hit that $$ sweet spot. Edit - sorry, not implying anything negative about Stutter, it's just no longer my cup of tea.
