Hard to argue with that. It is weird that nobody seems interested in making more decent quality ones. People can and do pay big $$ for lots of sample libraries, but then only have cheapo keyboards to use them with. Doesn't make sense to me. I even considered getting a Roland Fantom 7,which is all kinds of ridiculous because it would be so OTT for what I need, but it seems to be the only thing that ticks all the other boxes in so far as having the full set of controls on the right sized keyboard. That said, I read elsewhere that it doesn't play nice with CW. Roland seems to have pretty much limited their integration capabilities to Logic and Mainstage now. The way I see it is that if I have to compromise, then I may as well carry on using the compromised set up that I already have. It would just be nice to not have to.

I know it's relatively cheap, but when you watch the demos and see how the whole thing bends when being played it is a real turn off for me. To be fair they are not alone in this - most midi controllers feel like cheap toys to me. It also surprises me that virtually nobody goes beyond the 61 keys as many VST instruments stretch out further than that by the time keyswitches and stuff are included. It can't be just me that would willingly pay more for a decent quality 73 or 76 key version, or can it?

Are you using a VPN? If so, try setting to a different location and try again. Links works fine for me, not that I really need another reverb, lol. It's a bit cartoon looking for my liking. Mixcraft users will probably love it.?

I hate it when companies do that. I had one recently with both O's and zeros in that looked identical, but no combination of those would work, so what should have been a simple task was becoming quite the opposite. The serial was on my www pc and I was installing onto an offline DAW, so copy/paste could only be done in a convoluted way, which I was trying to avoid as it didn't seem like something that should be necessary, but when I had oh so carefully typed the various combinations several times to no avail, I gave up and copied the serial into notepad so that I could put it on a usb drive and copy/paste from that. I don't know where it came from, but before I did that it occurred to me to try changing the font in note pad to see if that helped and sure enough the new font displayed with a visible difference between O and zero. Which was all well and good, but I'd already tried that combo several times, so.................WTF? Turned out that the font used on the email of the serial also didn't show any distinction between I and 1! ??

I've always found it hard to get people to really listen even when it's free, so I've never troubled myself with the notion of paying to be ignored. Remove the shackles and be free.........

I found a 5.1.1 update that still has the b&w look, but does give an "add colours" option in the settings, so I guess I wasn't the only one that wasn't happy with the dreary look. With that option selected it looks like this.. .....which is better, but still too much grey for my liking.

If you don't have v5 then I guess it won't look like v5? That said, there is 5.1.1 update that I wasn't made aware of so I will d/l that and see what that does.

As a CW user is it safe to get the demo yet or am I just going to waste my time / the demo period because it doesn't work properly? No mention of CW compatibility on the PB specs.
