I don't install every new version, so I'm currently on 2020.09 which no longer populates the pro channel the way it used to when adding a synth track - only the eq is now there and anything else has to be added manually. Can anyone tell me which version changed this as I liked it the way it was before, so I either want to return to that version, or is there some way to put it back the way it was within the current version? TIA.

But I thought MAC's were supposed to be superior? Surely they should already know which thing to download?

Surely has to be what they are working on now. Always been the weakest link and even more so now with the various v.3's. I'd happily forego it for Tassman 5 though..........even if it was nothing more than an updated UI. (Yeah I know)

The selector always defaults to Mac now for some reason and I sometimes forget to change it back to Win before d/loading. Didn't used to be that way, so I guess they changed it for some reason.

It's basically a collection of presets, so there's not really much else to judge it by. Yes there's the old quality v quantity debate, but I somehow doubt that the 4000+ that have now been removed were all crap. Disappointing, but hey ho, I'll get over it. Just 2020 still being 2020.?

I meant upgrade in the sense that one might reasonably expect the new version to be an upgrade on the previous one rather than a considerable downgrade.

Not if you don't have AL4. I was waiting for the black Keylab 88 which they have already priced considerably more than the white version, but with that and now a considerably downgraded AL I will be very much re-thinking that.

Time has proven that they were going in the right direction with it, but IIRC it was pretty broken at release and personally I didn't like the dull grey theme. I did buy X3 Pro, but only because of the included Melodyne integration and Addictive drums, which I was about to buy anyway so the X3 upgrade was cheaper than buying them separately. I didn't really like the UI again until whatever Platinum version got the dark theme.

The other day a man working on the roof of a building was tapping out "I'm watching you" in morse code with his hammer. He thought I wouldn't notice, but he's not as clever as he thinks he is. Then later that day I saw a man just standing outside a shop, He was wearing a surgical type mask to obscure his face. Almost certainly the same man. Why else would he cover his face like that ?
