I use #1, #2, and #4, and of course #8 so am happy with the poll results.
When Adobe went subscription, I started using Synfig, GIMP, Corel PSP, and Inkscape and haven't looked back.
I think it works well and use it often. As you would expect, people have different opinions on it but if you use and like the standard Console Shaper I think you would appreciate having the additional options. Can't say that I have a favorite emulation as it depends on the project, but I seem to use the Tube emulation the most.
Keeping a close eye on cost doesn't sound cheap to me I understand where you're coming from. If you haven't seen them already there are some videos on youtube by PreSonus and Marcus Huyskens that do a good job of demonstrating the various functions.
"Log in (or create a new account), fill out our questionnaire, and we'll send you a FREE download after 14 days"
I clicked the free link, created an account, filled out the questionnaire, and about 2 weeks later I got the download link ?
If mentioning an application I believe they are referring to a completed questionnaire.
Try using the back and then forward button on the browser, then click in the comment box after the link- that fixes it for me when it won't embed at first
Groove3 is very good and they have videos on a wide variety of topics but I never seemed to make the yearly subscription worthwhile. For me it ended up best to buy the videos I wanted (Groove3 or Udemy) while on sale and maybe get a monthly subscription ($15) once or twice a year when I couldn't find what I wanted on youtube. At times I also prefer reading a manual than watch videos.
