  1. I use #1, #2, and #4, and of course #8 so am happy with the poll results. When Adobe went subscription, I started using Synfig, GIMP, Corel PSP, and Inkscape and haven't looked back.
  2. Thanks to everyone for the progress reports and info - looks like we are just about there ?
  3. I think it works well and use it often. As you would expect, people have different opinions on it but if you use and like the standard Console Shaper I think you would appreciate having the additional options. Can't say that I have a favorite emulation as it depends on the project, but I seem to use the Tube emulation the most. Keeping a close eye on cost doesn't sound cheap to me I understand where you're coming from. If you haven't seen them already there are some videos on youtube by PreSonus and Marcus Huyskens that do a good job of demonstrating the various functions.
  4. $40 (half off) CTC-1 Pro Console Shaper This offer is good until Jun 07, 2020 at 11:59 PM CST
  5. "Log in (or create a new account), fill out our questionnaire, and we'll send you a FREE download after 14 days" I clicked the free link, created an account, filled out the questionnaire, and about 2 weeks later I got the download link ? If mentioning an application I believe they are referring to a completed questionnaire.
  6. Same here I'm in no hurry
  7. I grabbed it in Dec 2017 when it was on sale for half off - well worth it - haven't seen it on sale again since
  8. Try using the back and then forward button on the browser, then click in the comment box after the link- that fixes it for me when it won't embed at first
  9. Man I've been there too...good luck with your new place!
  10. Groove3 is very good and they have videos on a wide variety of topics but I never seemed to make the yearly subscription worthwhile. For me it ended up best to buy the videos I wanted (Groove3 or Udemy) while on sale and maybe get a monthly subscription ($15) once or twice a year when I couldn't find what I wanted on youtube. At times I also prefer reading a manual than watch videos.
  11. I guess it's a good thing for those that keep WUP up to date but I'm not going for something that's just going to be taken away later
  12. I have been looking at the various options for months and after watching some youtube videos decided scaler was the one I wanted. Glad I held off and hoping for a good price at release.
