This cake is pretty old, or at least past its best: I never realised that there was a forum for such things.

Apart from the Br***t negotiations.

With whom? Esther the Wonder Pig - she's still smiling.

Does anyone else prefer hardware MIDI modules to software synths?

If money and space were no object ... but they are. -
If the pig is squeaking, that's not oinkment, That's the pig having his 30 minutes of fun.

No matter what pitch you play it back at, it's still Piers Morgan. And therefore he is still eminently twattable. In England and Wales it is now a criminal offence not to punch Piers Morgan on sight, punishable by either a fine of up to £10,000 or up to six months imprisonment. The appropriate legislation is still pending in Northern Ireland and Scotland.

I bought one of your albums. If it means I'm just like Craig, I want a refund.

The only possible answer is "Yes".

Dave ain't no Kylie. Now, that's a seal of approval

It's what all the Kool Kidz* want. * In this case the definition extends to a middle-aged man who doesn't play guitar but makes dance music (most definitely not EDM).

All I'm talking about is representing digital audio as a staircase. But let's move on. Forgive me my pedantry. -
Is it just me but this update seems to have gone back to the full download and full installation, rather than just updating the relevant files?

Is 192kHz hi-res audio recording in studio worth it?
Wibbles replied to Øyvind Skald's topic in The Coffee House
At this point, 6 out of 15 voters record at higher than 44.1kHz, but only 4 out of 15 think there's any point at recording at higher rate. I am one of those 4, so at least 3 of the voters recording at higher than 44.1kHz think there's no point. -

Also, I am not a bat. -

But anyway I stick to 24 bit/44.1kHz. My computer is feeble and I am the end user. If my computer were up to the task, I would work at 96kHz - everything I do is ITB. -

But what's ITB is also not stepped. There are no stairs in digital audio. http://productionadvice.co.uk/no-stair-steps-in-digital-audio/ -

There's a lot of interesting stuff on this site regarding bit depths and sample rates, mastering and so on: http://productionadvice.co.uk/blog/ Here's an interest bit on sample rates: http://productionadvice.co.uk/high-sample-rates-make-your-music-sound-worse/#more-5689
