  1. Very nice! I enjoyed watching and listening. Especially impressive that you did the astrophotography as well.
  2. https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14918431 Done in Sonar using PluginGuru Unify, SoundBox Lumen from Kompose Audio and Purity from PluginGuru.
  3. Love this! Both the video and audio.

    Right Now

    I enjoyed it a lot.
  5. https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14915567 I just posted a new ambient piece called "Dreams" with multiple tracks using Soundbox with sounds from Kompose Audio, and Audiomodern libraries for Soundbox. Also a couple of tracks with Purity from PluginGuru.
  6. I've done this with Macrium Reflect a number of times. It works great. Never had a problem.
  7. Very nicely done! I really enjoyed listening. Martin
  8. The majority of what I've been doing lately (all in Cakewalk or Sonar) I classify as ambient. In fact, I'm working on a new one right now that I started on a 12-day cruise with my wife. Starbirth Music One of the ways I go about it is to start with an improvised bed that goes the length of time that I want the piece to be, and then I add other sounds on additional tracks until I like the way the whole piece sounds. Pads, bells and other similar sounds are used a lot. I sometimes use nature sounds, but I've pretty much gotten away from doing that lately. Much of my current stuff is ambient space music. I got a Roli Seaboard Rise 2 and using that with the included Equator 2 synth is a fantastically inspiring way to do ambient music. I know you said that you don't want to purchase anything, but Unify from pluginguru.com is a great way to combine sounds into awesome ambient mixes. I use it on everything I do for the past couple of years. They also have inexpensive libraries, some of which are great for ambient work.
  9. I was out of town for a couple of weeks, but I really liked version 8. Nice work!
  10. I was hearing some muddiness in the vocal low end. Just a suggestion.
  11. It keeps getting better and better with each version. I like it. Try a high pass filter on the female vocal to clean it up a bit. -- Martin
  12. Thank you for posting this. I am a big Air fan, and this is a fabulous concert.
  13. I just added the three tracks of Kontakt 7 with the same sounds as above on separate Kontakt tracks, and it works fine with no loud noise. Must be a problem with Unify and Kontakt 7. I will follow up with them. I also noticed that the Kontakt sounds were much quieter with Unify.
  14. I am working on a project in Sonar that has a track with Unify, which contains three tracks of Kontakt 7 from "The Orchestra Complete" from Sonuscore. When I hit the stop or pause button, a loud noise occurs. It sounds like someone hit a piano with their fist, but there are no piano sounds in the project. If I mute the track, it does not happen. The project has only a single track. The same thing occurs in CBB. -- Martin
  15. I agree that the horizontal slider bar in Sonar is hard to see. The first time I used it, finding it was a challenge.
  16. A few days after posting this (and having the headphones for 6 years of daily use), the ear pads self destructed. I was able to buy a new pair on Amazon and had them the next day. Good as new.
  17. I solve the security issue by NOT allowing the NAS boxes to be accessed from outside.
  18. I have 3 Qnap NAS boxes of varying models, and they have all been VERY reliable. I run Plex on one of them and can access my music and some videos that I ripped (and owned on DVD) on my TVs and other devices.
  19. If your data does not exist in (at least) 3 places, it does not exist at all. Sooner or later you will lose it. I backup to a local internal drive, and 2 NAS boxes, AND to Backblaze online.
  20. These are very nice, and inexpensive. CB-1 Studio Headphones by Status Audio https://www.status.co/products/cb1
  21. I really enjoyed listening. It is very Floydian, and I am a big Floyd fan. -- Martin
