my problem is I only like 2 or 3 of the spectral packs. Amethyst, Ochre and maybe Crimson.. Really wanted to support the development of Pigments 3.. but.. :-9
Best solution. Don't use presets. Make your own sounds! Be happy!
Lots of development effort went into Pigments new features. The presets are just a showcase of what you can start to do with it!

+1. did same thing as well.
I don't care for Arturia's bait & switch marketing.
I would have jumped on the $19 deal if they had been straight up about it (if for no other reason than to thank them for the free synth update), but now I'll end up passing.Don't waste my time forcing me to hunt for information so that I can understand what your giving vs what you're selling..
If it's a charged item tell me upfront & link your audio demos to same information page.
If you enable me to make a quick informed decision - I might reward you with an impulse buy even if I'm not that impressed by what you're offering.
As it is your patch demos would have had to impress the hell out of me to overcome my frustration and on that count they miserably failed. Not sure how you arrived at this conclusion, or what you have read? ?
Arturia was very clear that the Spectrum banks were FREE for those buying Pigments during the intro price sale.
Otherwise, the Spectrum banks were $19.99 for current owners, instead of $99.99. And the Pigments version upgrade was completely FREE for current owners, which included a new factory sound bank for version 3.
THIS was not bait and switch in my book! Actually a very good deal!!! Kudos to Arturia for going above and beyond!!! ?
As far as $19.99 for the Spectrum bank, I bought them as a way to thank Arturia for the free upgrade. And you know what, some of them are actually very good! But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I can accept that anybody has the right to not like them, as YMMV.

Funny. At first glance I read that as 'Mastering the Mushroom'. ?

I'm done with anything from Vegas, or Magix.
Just saying... ?
Like you will get spammed forever to update to their latest version of whatever.

That seems to be what I'm experiencing. I went to the store from within Pigments demo and it shows nothing, as you indicated. One thing that threw me was what this webpage is for. It allows you to download the Spectrum Sound Pack as 5 subpacks(?) as exe files. They seem to install but not do anything. So I uninstalled Amethyst. Anyway, thanks abacab for the info.
https://www.arturia.com/products/analog-classics/spectrum-sound-pack/resources
I see. Those downloads probably only apply to license owners. The ASC handles product activation, and knows if you have a license for a product.
Just buy the synth before the promo cutoff in May, and get the Spectrum banks for FREE!

What version of Cakewalk?
I'm not seeing this with Analog Lab V using the VST2 or VST3 plugins in Cakewalk v2021.01. Using NVIDIA GeForce GPU GTX 1650.

I'm a newbie to Pigments and Arturia. I'm running the Pigments3 demo for now. I wanted to audition the Spectrum Sound Pack. I downloaded one of the five of them - Amethyst. I double clicked the .exe file and it installed. It shows installed in Win10 Programs and Features. When I go into Pigments, the regular patches are there but I can't seem to locate the extra Amethyst patches. I don't see it under My Banks. Can someone please tell me how the whole sound pack thing works? Maybe it doesn't work with demo?
Also, I was surprised it didn't get installed thru the Arturia Software Center App.
Use the Arturia Software Center to install instruments you own, or any that you would like to demo. Assuming you have probably already done that, go to the next step...
Use the 'Store' section from within the instrument to browse available sound banks. You can download any bank by clicking on it, and it will automatically install. Don't click on 'add to cart'.
The Bank and presets will then be shown in the store view, where you can audition some, or add to cart, etc. Or return to the main store page.
If it's just a demo version, only certain presets will be unlocked and available for you to try. The rest remain locked until you buy the bank, so there is no way to fully audition any add-on bank. But Spectrum is FREE if you buy Pigments, so I wouldn't waste any more time trying to figure that out if it's not working in the demo.
If you own a bank, then in the Presets browser you can filter by bank, and select the bank that you want displayed in the browser.
There should never a need to run an install.exe for an Arturia product, unless ASC is busted, and that's the only plan B. If you wish, you can log into your account on the website to see what products you have registered, contact support, etc.
Good luck, and have fun!

It might be my setup, but I am finding some inconsistencies with it in AnalogLab V. If i try Pigments 3.0 presets in AnalogLab 5 , I get errors stating you need a newer version of AnalogLab 5. But the presets work fine in standalone and also in NI Komplete Kontrol. I checked and I am at AnalogLab 5.1.0.1325. Maybe need to wait for Arturia to patch AL 5. Other than that, seems to be no issues and also seems same system resource usage as Pigements 2.
Same here. And just to clarify, it appears to only be affecting the new presets. Both the 3.0 factory sounds, as well as the new Spectrum Sound Pack for 3.0 give the same error.
The older presets work fine in Analog Lab 5. No update for it yet in ASC though.

The Morph does provide more tactile feedback/texture than you might think.
I don't doubt that one bit. Not MPE, but I have a CME Xkey 25 (USB).
Love the low profile keys. Real easy to gliss over them, and fun to solo with. Have adjusted the velocity and channel aftertouch somewhat, so that it is more expressive that my standard MIDI keyboard. The next step up will be MPE for sure!

Considering that the Spectrum sound pack cost 20$ to current users, the synth itself would cost you 29$ in that package. Be reasonable lol
I think I paid $29 for Waves Element 2. Not even in the same league!!! ?

Thanks. I’ve had Pigments since v2 and have a Morph. Good combo, but this video predates the new sound packs for v3. Pigments 2 had some MPE specific presets and I’m just wondering if the Spectrum packs have more MPE presets.
I don't have an MPE controller yet, so can't say for sure. But that video stated that many Pigments factory presets (pre-v3) had out of the box MPE compatibility.
In any case, it's only $19 to find out, and you get 500 more interesting presets either way. If not, you can always tweak them for your MPE playing style!
I've got a Morph saved in my wish list (in-stock) at an online seller, but I think I'll hold out for a Roli Seaboard Block. Unfortunately those appear to be out-of-stock everywhere and back ordered until July at the earliest.

Are you being ironic?
In this forum you can only refer to MSRPs ironically, that's rule #3 of the Lars Club
Yeah, I suppose I was. I paid $100 for Pigments 2 when it was 50% off. No way I was gonna do $200!
But the main rule of the Lars club, is never, never pay full price! ?

I have been watching some tutorials today on the new features, and following along in Pigments 3.
This thing is a beast of a synth, and easy to get into! Thanks for the synth that keeps on giving Arturia! Well done!

Yeah. I got the free Pigments 3 update installed, but since buying the $19 patch kit, Arturia Software Center has been a smoldering heap. Oh well- Something to look forward to!
I got in early before the rush today, and ASC was running like clockwork at the time. Probably overwhelmed by the crowd later today!
FYI, if you already own the new preset banks, you only need to use the store tab in the synth itself to download and install them.

I have reached out to tech support at Applied Acoustic Systems about this issue. According to them, Native Instruments has confirmed that the problem is on their side.
I have been able to reproduce this using several different DAWs, including Cakewalk. It is only the Komplete Kontrol DAW plugin that does this, as the standalone KK application appears to work correctly.
The synths tested were Chromaphone 3 and Ultra Analog VA-3.
To reproduce the bug:
1. Open an instance of the Komplete Kontrol plugin in your DAW.
2. Browse and select a preset for one of the above AAS synths in the KK plugin. The AAS synth GUI should display normally in the KK plugin window.
3. Close the KK plugin window and reopen it.
4. The AAS synth GUI will be blanked out in the KK plugin window.

For $19, I would easily jump at Diva, Dune 3, Massive X, Phase Plant, and a few others on my wish list that seem to have slipped my mind at the moment, LOL!!!

$49 crossgrade (including the Spectrum sound pack) from V Collection 4
Would have jumped at $19
Not bad at all, because it's half-priced already at $99. I paid that during an Arturia 50% off sale a while back at PIB, and deducted a few bucks with my Jam Points, err, I mean my Virtual Cash.
But at $19 it would clearly be charity. ?

There are synths available that are designed exactly for that use case of song production, and they are often genre specific, with huge preset collections for that genre. I understand completely, and fall somewhere along the middle of that spectrum. But I probably lean more toward sound design. Or at least I waste more time on it, LOL!!!
Pigments appears to be a tool aimed at sound designers to make it easier for creating their own sounds with a complex synth.
Just as with choosing a DAW, the best advice often given is to pick the tool that best fits your workflow up front, as one shouldn't always expect that you can change any tool to be the way you want it to be.
