I have a Mk2 but this is really concerning. I would understand in new versions of komplete software not being able to use all the new features, but to not be compatible at all it is really messed up. The release date of those keyboards was only 9 years ago.

At the end of the day it is really just another piano library. Cant see this becoming the essencial go to piano to most. However im certain that some of us will end up buying these in one of those ik bundles, and they will get to sell them quite well

Yep, its hard to come up with a good piano library that brings something new to the table theses days. the most recent one that i remember is Piano Colors by Native Instruments, some cool ideas there

I would prefer to hear those pianos by themselves and not within the context of a full instrumental track, as most of them are. But they sound good, particularly the Concert Grand YF3

They will be light years ahead of those that you refer, without a doubt. The question is how will they compare with some of those industry standard, as they are positioning themselves in that tier.

I guess ill have to hear them first. But …1040€_excl vat! (introdutory price is less than that) for an instrument with 8 pianos… ouch! This pricing is, for sure, taking into account future drastic sales

On the contrary, Those NI sales are without a doubt a great strategy, they get to sell their software to a bunch of new people that otherwise would not get it. Those were great sales, almost in the impulse buy territory, they get to increase their market share theoretically without any cost, and people with enough great synths that would not buy them full price jumped on board just to not miss out on the oportunity. My case is just one example.
