  1. Thanks Reid. I was waiting till the sale season started before going for some things I been eying
  2. I didn't realize this. Well that doesn't make sense. You can buy all three and get the shell for free. But when you buy the shell with the plugins, they are tied to the shell. These people... SMH
  3. Going through some stuff. Found my receipt for my purchase of Sonar 5, which was an upgrade from Pro Audio 9. But I also got a free upgrade to Sonar 6 when it came out shortly after. Receipt info: Tue 5/2/2006 SONAR 5 Producer Edition 1 349 SONAR 5 Producer Upgrade for Home Studio, Project5, Pro Audio, Guitar Tracks Pro, Kinetic, and Music Creator Customers Subtotal 349 Shipping 8.95 Tax 0 Total 357.95
  4. @LAGinz You get all three modules that go in Channel X when you purchase it. I am sure of that. IOW, Channel X is just a shell that holds the three plugins. I maybe wrong on this next point, not sure. As far as I know, you will have the three plugins that you could use separately. If your unsure, ask support that question. If you buy Channel X, will I be able to use the three plugins separately as individual plugins. HTH
  5. Yep, me too. You can get Channel X for $29. It includes all three plugins that go into it. Maybe that's what support was trying to tell ya. https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/lindell_channelx.html
  6. The Big Mega Sale has... never mind!!
  7. I really like the Channel X stuff. Also like the TE 100. Never thought about both EQ's being the "same". Never used then in that manner. The Preamp of the Channel X is different and gives a different out come when paired with the PEX 500. So I don't think you will be redundant if you have both. It's a shame they will charge for the Channel strip.

Abacab is right. If you leave the door open, someone will eventually come in. Just that simple. I use the new Edge. It's better than Chrome.
  9. @Peter DeLegge I don't own Neoverb yet. But I will when I upgrade my Music Production Suite. I found that with the Izotope plugins that are designed to work together hand in hand, I can get much better results because, I am a musician/songwriter, not an engineer. That's the beginning and end of it. I would rather create music. So I think that Neoverb is going to work well for me. But there are many others here that don't play instruments and are totally on the engineering side. Very diverse bunch around here.
  10. Say what??!! Oh I see now, he's talking to @Zo!! : ) LOL!!
  11. I would have to agree. I can get better results with Izotope and Waves stuff. I did try it a few times and never really got what I was looking for so I haven't been back to it lately.

Everything I got from JRR I could have got from another dealer. For not much more than what JRR charges. I kept going with JRR because he is such a nice and helpful guy. And I hope he gets it sorted out. Good luck Uncle E. Like I already said, luv ya man!! However... And... This^^^^^ Agreed. And this is all I have been saying for the last couple of months. I mean I hung in there for the last two years with the website troubles. But when I saw the redirection.... come on!! Duh! All that said, if he gets his site going again, and it stays that way for a reasonable period of time, I may be back. I won't rule out never buying from him again. But certainly not right now. Good luck again Uncle E.

He's been saying it was gonna get fixed for how long now? Nope. Ain't buying that. Just something we can't put our finger on is going on over there. And he's not being candid about it. I understood that. Still not acceptable for me. I'm out. Just way too many options out there.
  14. Yes it is fun to play around with. I would have never thought that looking at it!! I really like and use Channel X a lot.
  15. @antler Maybe redo the thread title with the word 'Reset' to show everyone that the code was reset.
  16. I did the same thing... last time! But not this time. I got me some freebies out of it this time!

Quote Update 1: Uncle E has said they store no personal information for billing. All transactions with credit cards go directly through the credit cards company portals so the website doesn't even obtain that data. Same with PayPal. This is his solution to the issue? Not acceptable for me.
  18. Agreed. The Bass Ren and Guitar Ren are also some of my fav quick go-to plugins.
  19. Not sure anyone realizes this, but R-Vox is a really good plugin!!
  20. $16 for the Melda mReverbMB is an excelent deal. this was the first mb reverb I used, and really learned a lot from it. I know Melda has always been dogged by the GUI, but if I had to design the UI for such powerful plugins that have common elements with other plugins the company makes...... lets just say ya'll lucky!!

This^^^^ I'm done too. Getting redirected too. That was the last straw. Won't purchase there anymore. I like JRR. Like to give them my business. But I can't take a chance that a hacker has the site/system compromised. And I can say with certainty that there is no one at the company that knows how to deal with it. That much is pretty evident. Uncle E, love ya man. But ya gotta get this fixed or I won't be back until you do. I sure hope it's not a tragic situation that your company is involved in. Whatever the reason it has gotten to this point, I wish you and yours well.
  22. Wondered the same. If they do like they have done in the past, what is included in MPS doesn't need iLock.
