What about the later progressives?
-
That is some good news Hope it all goes well.

I remember when I had my eye exam at under 40 years old. The doc told me I got some good news and bad news to tell you. I said what is the bad news first. He replied you need bi-focals. Okay then what is the good news? His reply is that I was already two prescription strengths past when he recommends getting bifocals or progressives. With that he said I don't think you will have any trouble getting used to the progressives. He was right as I adjusted to them in only several days. Years later my wife finally had to get them and it took her several weeks to adjust to them.

What about a good eye. I could use one of those ?

If you are doing rounds, ss it because you are doing a Canon? If so I never like to be in the first group. Trust be with my voice you don't want me leading or evening following. But with a few free drinks I'm willing to give it a shot!
-
Are you buying the rounds?

Presonus, you know you want to give us a nice sale price on SOP ?

Rather have it tangy

And kids now get upset when they can't get an answer right away. My kids included! I will have to say I wish programs like this were around when I was taking Calculus. As I'm more visual in math and this would of been great and to keep it on the HD subject, just think of all the math problems that 14TB drive would store.

Now Lar don't take this the wrong way: You are official an old fart. ? Of course I remember having a few courses in college where I had to use the punch cards to input my program. Was not a fun time especially as the project for mid-terms and finals came due and we were all scrambling for computer time and praying we got it to compile. Wait this makes me an old-fart too ?

Nice demonstration.

Guitar Center filing for bankruptcy (not a deal)
InstrEd replied to Matthew Sorrels's topic in Deals
Another one of my favorite places for CD's gone I know it is all streaming now but my wife and I would spent at least an hour each time we would venture into Borders either to browse books, magazines or the music. I don't think we every left the place without buying something to. -

If you have to ask the question you know the answer ? -
Also I don't see a Reptile tank either. How do you expect to get any work accomplished without one... ?

Garritan Personal Orchestra, no staccato woodwinds
InstrEd replied to DocBob's topic in Instruments & Effects
I'm actually okay on Orchestra for my needs. I was just commenting on the need for Garritan to update the program especially since the samples are used in Finale and with the competition like Notion it really should be done. Also for those that don't know, the folks that make Finale own Garritan products. -

It seems like it would be a money maker for them. another 10-15GB of samples that are lacking and I know I would be on board for the upgrade. Plus they could make it available to use in Finale to play back the score. Win-win in my book. But what do I know? -
Yep to seems to be. I did a simple canon /round in Studio One to see how it works and it was so easy to do and experiment with.
-
I was surprised that CbB wasn't working on a chord track while they were doing the arranger track. I think something in the line of Studio One would be nice addition. I don't have that much to add as I only touched on Studio One Chord track but I like it. I still seem to get along better in CbB so a Chord Track would be welcome.

Thanks for bringing back memories. I spent quite a time in Tower Records and yes I did buy plenty of LP's, cassettes. But I can say I never did buy any eigth-tracks from here. -
I have Paintshop Pro older version. Forget which one. My wife got use to most of it and I usually update it every few years. Then I have to learn the ins and outs of the changes and slowly she moves to it. I have made quite a few page layout templates for her scrapbooking photos. Affinity Photo is really a sleek program and I have been trying a few simple ideas in the program to learn more about it.

and here I thought it was by which hand you hold your beer ? -
I don't know if it was you who steered me towards Affinity but I have to agree especially after Corel Draw going sub like Adobe.

Garritan Personal Orchestra, no staccato woodwinds
InstrEd replied to DocBob's topic in Instruments & Effects
Glad to hear it is working. It is always a challenge to find the right virtual Orchestra for ones needs. I really think Garritan should come out with a version 6 that has more articulations in them. -
