They also have a 40% off upgrade to Cubase 11 Pro special until May 2nd. I'm still on Cubase 10 Artist and normally it would cost $129 to upgrade to Cubase 11 Artist. With this special I can get Cubase 11 Pro for $149. Good deal for someone wanting to upgrade to Pro. https://new.steinberg.net/promotion/cubase-upgrade-offer/?utm_campaign=337520078237_cubase_pro_11_upgrade_sale&utm_content=cubase-pro-11-ug_us-eu-row_en-de-es-fr-ja&utm_medium=promo&utm_source=newsletter&utm_term=4EYZ0GE7-4B1YQN4T-1BH7163T

I believe he mentioned he would be gone around three weeks before he left.

Sorry guys, Larry's gone. He's in Kentucky. He's listening to banjo music and squealing like a pig! ?

Thank you. ?

Yes. I guess he named his band Mammoth WVH because that was Van Halen's original name (Mammoth) and then his initials (Wolfgang Van Halen ).

I guess you did not get the memo Bob, you can not use that name (Stonewall Jackson ) no more. You know cancel culture and all. ? Just kidding. I did find out he is still alive and 88 years old. Also found this little tidbit: "In 2006, Jackson sued the Grand Ole Opry for $10 million in compensatory damages and $10 million in punitive damages, claiming age discrimination. As a member of the Opry for over fifty years, Jackson believed management was sidelining him in favor of younger artists. In his court filing, Jackson claimed that Opry general manager Pete Fisher stated that he did not "want any gray hairs on that stage or in the audience, and before I'm done there won't be any." Fisher is also alleged to have told Jackson that he was "too old and too country". The lawsuit was settled on October 3, 2008 for an undisclosed amount and Jackson returned to performing on the show. He has been a member of the Opry since 1956." Every Mothers Nightmare - Muddy Water

I do things like that on occasions. I chalk it up to being a "subtle" effect. ?

Hell yeah it's worth it! If I owned or worked in a professional studio and it had the sound and workflow I needed for the job and to make a living it would be. But me being a hobbyist sitting here in my spare bedroom office/music room they would have to come down off that price by about 95% to even consider it. I wonder if you own a pro studio if you get tax deductions for plugins?

I see these JRR Sample Sets on sale frequently. Does anybody have experience or a review of how good they are? I'm mainly interested because of the compatibilty with Steinberg's Halion.

If you were to invite me over you would have a couple of less bottles of booze. Not that I drink too much. Well, not that I Didn't. But because your dart board is too damn close to the booze.

You guys must be bass players! ? A certificate of deposit (CD) is a low-risk savings tool that can boost the amount you earn in interest while keeping your money invested in a relatively safe way. Like savings accounts, CDs are considered low risk because they are FDIC-insured up to $250,000.
