I might pick this up, because owning M-Tron Pro (not IV) doesn't give me any discount when I add MkII to cart on the GForce site. But I only have to pay 39.99 GBP to upgrade M-Tron Pro to M-Tron Pro IV. Which makes sense, since MkII is simply a different product.

Yeah, this is not intuitive. I'm sure they even lose sales, because it's not apparent for owners of previous versions how to get to that upgrade price. And I should probably tell THEM this instead of posting it here. So I will send it to them as well.

Exactly. Like every year, I'll have to patiently wait until November/December, and then upgrade my Synth Stack to get everything by them. That usually means each instrument drops to around $20-25 – even though I'm sure this is totally worth $89 or even more. However, since the individual synths are getting more costly, I wonder if they'll raise the update price for Synth Stack as well?

Just use symbolic links and put everything that takes up a lot of space on an external hard drive. Easy peasy once you've set it up.

Right, I remember now that they said that. And I was fine with it, since I'm more of a tweaker of presets and not a sound designer, so I probably don't NEED any of the features in v3. So I just need to remember that when the GAS starts hitting me...

I bought the Dark Zebra package a while back, which has Zebra v2 and Hans Zimmer soundbanks and other things. I know it won't be automatically updateable to v3, but if the new version is super amazing, I hope they'll give an update discount, at least...

Just wanted to say that I wholeheartedly recommend these. I'm using them on many projects I start now, as with Cherry Audio's virtual instruments. Fantastic and inspiring sound with both effects, and $10 for each is an amazing price.

The whole ShaperBox 3 with nine more effects included is €89 / $89 right now: https://www.cableguys.com/shaperbox So it doesn't seem to make sense buying only TimeShaper for $19, unless the upgrade price later to the whole ShaperBox is $70. Which I don't think it is?

The Synth Stack updates are historically every November, if you wanna update to 4 then.

Someone should take the piss out of Audio Imperia and create really good music with this instrument prominently featured.
