  1. Actually €299 from V8 to V11 isn't that bad. You get: • Acid V • Augmented Series: Augmented BRASS, GRAND PIANO, MALLETS, STRINGS, VOICES, WOODWINDS, and YANGTZE • CP-70 V • JUP-8000 V • MiniBrute V • MiniFreak V • Pure LoFi • Synthi V • SynthX V That's a lot of sound power.
  2. 1) Apparently it's still CPU hungry, but I didn't notice on my Mac Studio M3 Ultra. 🙃 2) I actually don't know. I thought it was just one license, but it seems I still have the iLok license not activated, while registering it to my Mac Studio and having it work there.
  3. So, I just pulled the trigger on iZotope Equinox for $39.20 via my loyalty offer. It'll be my main reverb going forward. Here’s why that made sense — maybe it'll help someone else debating the same. - WHAT IT IS: * Equinox is iZotope's new flagship reverb, replacing Exponential Audio's Stratus 3D, Symphony 3D, R4, Nimbus, PhoenixVerb, and even Neoverb. * It's the only one that's fully Apple Silicon native and officially supported. * It's Dolby Atmos–ready, supports up to 9.1.6, and runs great in Logic Pro. - WHY I BOUGHT IT: * I already own 40+ reverbs: Eventide, PSP, Valhalla, Waves, Arturia, IK, Relab, etc. * But none of them combine: - Clean modern sound - Native Atmos support - Apple Silicon optimisation - Clear GUI and workflow - Freeze, modulation, tilt EQ, unmasking - 1250+ presets At this price, it’s cheaper than coffee and pastry. And worth mastering. - MY STRATEGY — ANCHOR + COLOUR: * Equinox is my new anchor: the one reverb I’ll learn and trust for all mix work. * The rest are colour tools: Blackhole, Supermassive, Wires, SP2016, etc. * I now mix with one trusted core verb — and add spice when needed. - FUTURE-PROOF? PROBABLY: * Unless iZotope makes a "Neutron 6 Atmos AI Verb Matrix", Equinox is it. * Even if something better comes out, I’ll still be mastering this one. - TL;DR: If you’ve got the loyalty price, and want one future-ready flagship reverb — grab Equinox. Use the rest for colour. This is the one I’ll be learning inside and out.
  4. Solution for all such problems: Your invoice address must always be in a VAT-exempt country. I use Gibraltar and the address for my country's consulate there. No VAT!
  5. So far I've blatantly stolen their plugins, since they make it possible. But if I start making money from music AND use their stuff more, I'll actually buy their licenses.
  6. FYI, the discount code really is as long as it's written in the members area: You have to write the whole word there, not just the small letters at the end.
  7. The following products are available for free: * dearVR PRO 2 (native Apple Silicon support) * dearVR MIX * EXOVERB * EXOVERB MICRO * MIYA * dearVR SPATIAL CONNECT * dearVR MICRO * dearVR AMBI MICRO * dearVR UNITY It's a 3.1 GB download.
  8. I have V3, and I'm offered $149 as an upgrade price to V5. Therefore I'm tempted to just buy this upgrade from V4 to V5 for just $49, in case the code from PB works to upgrade my V3 anyway: https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/81-Bundles/58-Instrument-Bundles/14325-KORG-Collection-5-Upgrade-from-v4 Did anyone ever successfully pull something like this off with a Korg upgrade?
  9. Hi guys. I signed up for these free plugins (anyone can), but I won't need them since I have everything else by Eventide already. So just grab DeBoom and Sheen Machine for free and register them in your Eventide account (before 2025). And if you do please remember to write a comment that they're taken. 1) To activate the plug-in(s): - Register the plug-in(s) on eventideaudio.com - Download and run the installers - Launch any DAW and activate 2) - License Key for DeBoom Giveaway Promo: D422-D813-DD42 - License Key for Sheen Machine Giveaway Promo: D18E-5F40-0440
  10. Total Studio 4 Max is $125.99 at JRRShop with code "GROUP": https://www.jrrshop.com/ik-multimedia-total-studio-max That is a steal for all of these things in one package. I have most of them, otherwise I would have jumped on it.
  11. Are they really much better than any stock effects in any DAW these days?
  12. Hazy Days is only in Komplete 15 Ultimate CE, so it's probably worth to pay $1 to get it this way.
  13. Thanks, that worked. Note that you might have to first re-activate your email address for their email list again, and then try entering the competition again.
  14. I bought Falcon for €167.23 in November 2023, which unlocked a €100 voucher. And the similar "buy 1 and get 1 free" offer meant that I could then buy six expansions for just €18.62, instead of almost €200. (This is without VAT, since I'm always buying things using a Gibraltar address. Which anyone can do, btw.)
  15. Normally €44.75, now just €1: https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/10921-ShapeMod And you also get one of this month's two free gifts: * AIR Solina: https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/1-Instruments/64-Virtual-Instrument/8892-Solina * Zynaptiq Orange Vocoder Nano: https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/11468-ORANGE-VOCODER-NANO Use coupon code "SM-2" on the very last page of the check out, and watch the price drop. (My first post here, I think. Hope I did everything right.)
  16. (I don't know if this is allowed here – please just delete if not.) Would anyone be interested in buying my entire Waves account, with these plugins? If so, just message me. Thanks! 17. if someone on purpose made it stop producing audio, that's such an immoral move.
  18. You're not "screwed over" by owning 99% of what's in Amplitube – you are blessed. Instead of monitoring deals to simply "complete Amplitube", it's time to make music! Get those tracks finished!
  19. Hm. They wrote this: "Yes, you can purchase the upgrade at any time that is convenient for you." But that was after I had verified that I had bought v1 by sending them the digital receipt, and they had created an upgrade code for my email address. So if you want to upgrade at some point, maybe email them before that date to make sure you get your upgrade code? And then you can use it – or not.
  20. FYI, I own v1 and emailed support about upgrading to v2. It's correct that it's $19.99 to upgrade, and there's no deadline for that offer – you can upgrade at any time later as well. Which is what I'll do, since I wanna test out the ARP 2600 emulators I have by Arturia and Cherry Audio first. Yes, this is the only one endorsed by the hardware creator, but I'm not SUCH an aficionado that I need a 100% correct replication. I care much more about inspiring and plentiful presets etc., which both Arturia and Cherry Audio offer.
  21. This thread has made me realise that maybe I should open Chromaphone 3 and try it out a little more. I bought their instruments and effects collection (Chromaphone 3 + Lounge Lizard EP 4 + String Studio VS 3 + Strum GS 2 + Ultra Analog VA 3) for €199 some time ago, and have barely touched any of them. Not just because I haven't made much music, but also because I have too many plugins. And of course, maybe I'm making less music than before also because I have too many plugins...
  22. So, it's $149 to upgrade from Collection 3 to 5 and get these plugins: * microKORG, Electribe R and Kaoss Pad (introduced with Collection 4) * Arp 2600, EP-1 and Vox Super Continental (introduced with Collection 5) If I didn't have a bazzilion other synths, including other versions of those sounds already, I could be interested. But I'm probably not the target group for Korg in these upgrades to their collection.
  23. Such a true comment for so many of us. Also – so you want your money to go France instead of Japan? Somehow I would do the opposite.
