Korg Collection 5 upgrades (possibly the best price ever)
Per Christian Frankplads replied to Luc's topic in Deals
I have V3, and I'm offered $149 as an upgrade price to V5. Therefore I'm tempted to just buy this upgrade from V4 to V5 for just $49, in case the code from PB works to upgrade my V3 anyway: https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/81-Bundles/58-Instrument-Bundles/14325-KORG-Collection-5-Upgrade-from-v4 Did anyone ever successfully pull something like this off with a Korg upgrade? -
Hi guys. I signed up for these free plugins (anyone can), but I won't need them since I have everything else by Eventide already. So just grab DeBoom and Sheen Machine for free and register them in your Eventide account (before 2025). And if you do please remember to write a comment that they're taken. 1) To activate the plug-in(s): - Register the plug-in(s) on eventideaudio.com - Download and run the installers - Launch any DAW and activate 2) - License Key for DeBoom Giveaway Promo: D422-D813-DD42 - License Key for Sheen Machine Giveaway Promo: D18E-5F40-0440

Hazy Days is only in Komplete 15 Ultimate CE, so it's probably worth to pay $1 to get it this way. -
UVI Falcon 3.1 Released. Also, 50% off until Nov. 4
Per Christian Frankplads replied to Canopus's topic in Deals
I bought Falcon for €167.23 in November 2023, which unlocked a €100 voucher. And the similar "buy 1 and get 1 free" offer meant that I could then buy six expansions for just €18.62, instead of almost €200. (This is without VAT, since I'm always buying things using a Gibraltar address. Which anyone can do, btw.) -
Normally €44.75, now just €1: https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/10921-ShapeMod And you also get one of this month's two free gifts: * AIR Solina: https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/1-Instruments/64-Virtual-Instrument/8892-Solina * Zynaptiq Orange Vocoder Nano: https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/11468-ORANGE-VOCODER-NANO Use coupon code "SM-2" on the very last page of the check out, and watch the price drop. (My first post here, I think. Hope I did everything right.)

You must be the exception to the rule. -
(I don't know if this is allowed here – please just delete if not.) Would anyone be interested in buying my entire Waves account, with these plugins? If so, just message me. Thanks! if someone on purpose made it stop producing audio, that's such an immoral move.

IK Multimedia Offer Orange OR120 (+ matching cab) FREE
Per Christian Frankplads replied to satya's topic in Deals
You're not "screwed over" by owning 99% of what's in Amplitube – you are blessed. Instead of monitoring deals to simply "complete Amplitube", it's time to make music! Get those tracks finished! -
Hm. They wrote this: "Yes, you can purchase the upgrade at any time that is convenient for you." But that was after I had verified that I had bought v1 by sending them the digital receipt, and they had created an upgrade code for my email address. So if you want to upgrade at some point, maybe email them before that date to make sure you get your upgrade code? And then you can use it – or not.
-
FYI, I own v1 and emailed support about upgrading to v2. It's correct that it's $19.99 to upgrade, and there's no deadline for that offer – you can upgrade at any time later as well. Which is what I'll do, since I wanna test out the ARP 2600 emulators I have by Arturia and Cherry Audio first. Yes, this is the only one endorsed by the hardware creator, but I'm not SUCH an aficionado that I need a 100% correct replication. I care much more about inspiring and plentiful presets etc., which both Arturia and Cherry Audio offer.

AAS Chromaphone 3 Composition Tools Sale (Exclusive)
Per Christian Frankplads replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
This thread has made me realise that maybe I should open Chromaphone 3 and try it out a little more. I bought their instruments and effects collection (Chromaphone 3 + Lounge Lizard EP 4 + String Studio VS 3 + Strum GS 2 + Ultra Analog VA 3) for €199 some time ago, and have barely touched any of them. Not just because I haven't made much music, but also because I have too many plugins. And of course, maybe I'm making less music than before also because I have too many plugins... -
So, it's $149 to upgrade from Collection 3 to 5 and get these plugins: * microKORG, Electribe R and Kaoss Pad (introduced with Collection 4) * Arp 2600, EP-1 and Vox Super Continental (introduced with Collection 5) If I didn't have a bazzilion other synths, including other versions of those sounds already, I could be interested. But I'm probably not the target group for Korg in these upgrades to their collection.

Moog Moogerfooger Custom Bundle 2 for $62

If you're gonna spend $62 for two of the effecs, I think it's better to buy the whole bundle of eight effects for $149. -
Freezr by Audiomodern 50% off ($14.99 was $29.00) at APD

I bought it for $11.99 from APD. Also because I got SwishSwoosh's Amber for Kontakt, which looks kinda interesting. -
Freezr by Audiomodern 50% off ($14.99 was $29.00) at APD
Per Christian Frankplads replied to GTsongwriter's topic in Deals
If it helps anyone, I asked the AI Claude 3.5 Sonnet to look at the complete list of plugins I have, find the ones similar to Freezr, and then compare them to this product. This is what it said: "I'll analyze Audiomodern Freezr and compare it to your existing plugins that have similar functionality. First, let's look at what Freezr does: Audiomodern Freezr is a creative audio effect plugin that allows users to freeze, loop, and manipulate audio in real-time. Its main features include: Freezing audio at specific points Creating stutter effects Looping sections of audio Pitch shifting frozen audio Filtering and modulation options Randomization features Now, let's identify plugins from your list that have similar functionality: Audio Damage: Replicant 2 Baby Audio: Magic Dice Cableguys: ShaperBox 3 (specifically the Time module) Eventide: H3000 Factory Mk II, H910 Harmonizer, H949 Harmonizer Freakshow Industries: MISHBY, PocketDimension izotope: Stutter Edit 2 Melda Productions: MSpectralDelay Unfiltered Audio: Sandman Pro, Instant Delay Sugar Bytes: Effectrix Let's compare these plugins to Freezr: Audio Damage Replicant 2: Offers similar stutter and glitch effects, but with a focus on rhythmic sequencing. It doesn't have the same freezing capabilities as Freezr. Baby Audio Magic Dice: Provides randomized effects, including some stutter-like features, but lacks the specific freezing and looping functionality of Freezr. Cableguys ShaperBox 3 (Time module): Offers advanced time manipulation effects, including stutter and loop features. It's more comprehensive than Freezr but may be more complex to use. Eventide H3000 Factory Mk II, H910, and H949 Harmonizers: These are more focused on pitch shifting and delay effects. While they can create some similar sounds, they don't have the specific freezing and looping features of Freezr. Freakshow Industries MISHBY and PocketDimension: These offer glitch and time-based effects, but with a different approach and interface. They may achieve similar results but don't have the same workflow as Freezr. iZotope Stutter Edit 2: This is perhaps the closest match to Freezr. It offers advanced stutter, freeze, and effect sequencing capabilities. It's more feature-rich than Freezr but may also be more complex to use. Melda Productions MSpectralDelay: While it can create some similar effects, it's more focused on spectral processing and doesn't have the same freezing capabilities as Freezr. Unfiltered Audio Sandman Pro and Instant Delay: These are primarily delay plugins with some freezing and looping capabilities, but they're not as focused on the specific functionality that Freezr offers. Sugar Bytes Effectrix: This is a multi-effect sequencer that can create stutter and glitch effects similar to Freezr, but with a different workflow and additional effect types. Conclusion: While you have several plugins that can create similar effects to Freezr, none of them offer the exact same combination of features and ease of use. Stutter Edit 2 is probably the closest in terms of functionality, but it's more complex. Freezr might offer a simpler, more focused approach to freezing and looping audio. However, given the overlap with your existing plugins, whether it's worth $11 depends on how much you value its specific workflow and interface." -
I guess this is the new version of the plugin that many people are very dissatisfied with? I saw many complaints on other forums. So, before installing, I would check out if there's any personal need to just get a newer version. I haven't updated the plugin, because the old and trusted version does the job perfectly already.

I bought V Collection 8 from them before for $49 like this. I think I just used a VPN into the US, and had a random American address as "billing address". (I used my country's embassy's address, that always works.) But I haven't tried to buy anything boxed from them, although it's probably easy to just have it sent to anyone you know in the US. Then they can send you the relevant codes.
-
I'm in the same situation, and my personal answer is "no". V2 already has most of the things I need from a creative point of view, and I even got several of the plugins in V5 for free already. So I'm waiting until FX Collection 6 and V Collection 11 (I have 8), I guess.

You don't need it. Instead do what my actual producer friend always tells me: "Actually finish tracks with the tools you have, and in that process you should be learning how to do what you what with them. And then, only then, you might discover there are things they can't do. If you really need those things, maybe you can allow yourself to buy the thing that does what you want."
