With the new update, when I install a plugin it gives the window that says "Fatal Error" and Cakewalk crashes. For me, this update just isn't working. I went back to the old version.

Great. Thanks for your help!

When I installed the new update, I noticed that my audio tracks all had a weird kind of glow to them. Anyway, they weren't normal. I uninstalled the update because it bothered me to look at it. Does anyone else have that issue with the new update?

I believe my keyboard is failing. Thanks for everyone's input! Much appreciated.

Well, I know that I didn't continue to press the "M" key over and over, so there must be some kind of glitch. I don't know how else that could have happened.
-
I'm falling asleep with this project. Taking too long for good ideas with this song. ? So if the "M" key started them, hitting "M" again will stop them?

I right clicked on one of them, and a box came up. So they are some kind of marker. Then I went to View>Marker, as was suggested. And a window opened with a ton of A1 markers. I deleted them all, and now it looks like the 2nd photo. Problem is, I don't know exactly what they are or how they got there, so I don't know how to prevent them from coming back.

No problem, John. I'll find it. Thanks!
-
How do you roll back to the previous version?
-
So far I haven't come up with an answer.

I'm using the newest version that I just downloaded. But I don't understand these white lines on top. What are they?
-
I don't have any plugins on those tracks - unless a plugin on another track is messing things up. But they're plugins I've used all along and never had issues with. But you never know. I'll check and see. Thanks!

I have a few audio tracks recorded. I even made sure the timing was correct by going into audio timing (alt+A) and fine-tuning it. But sometimes when I play it back, the audio timing is off on a track or two. Then I'll stop it and then play it back again, and it's fine. Then it will do it again later. And when I stop and then play it back, it's fine again.

I got it to wok. I ran it as an administrator and tried to reinstall it in CC. It still said it needed to be reinstalled, but at least it's working. Thanks, scook!
-
It shows that it's already installed in Command Center (the green light is on), but it says I need to reinstall it. I've tried several times, but it says it's not installed correctly. That's when I tried reinstalling an old version I had. I don't know how to get CC to install it correctly.

I installed my old D-Pro from 2013. When I opened it, it said I needed a registration code. I went to my old account at Cakewalk and retrieved the registration code. But when I typed it in, it says it's invalid. How do I register it if the registration code is invalid? It's the only one I have.

I finally downloaded Bandlab Assistant (Don't know why I hadn't before). When I signed on to that, it activated CbB. John Vere: My computer also saves all my log in info. But for whatever reason, it didn't work in the little CbB box.
-
I saw the other post about it.
-
When I opened up CbB, a box came up that said I had to reactivate CbB within 13 days or my activation would expire. I used my email and password. Didn't work. I used my user name and password. Didn't work. I changed my password. Still didn't work. So what's the deal with this reactivation? And how do I do it?

Thanks, Noel!

But if the enhancements are turned off for my interface, then it should be fine, correct?
-
-
Noel Borthwick - I right-clicked on my SSL2 interface (checked green) and went to Properties. There I clicked on Disable all enhancements. thanks
-
Yes, all audio comes through interface and monitors. I disabled PC audio thanks

The sound wasn't good in headphones or my monitors. And "correct" to everything. I changed enhancements to the interface in Control Panel. thanks
